I would have stayed longer, but I was getting like REALLY frustrated later in the set, like moreso than my normal frustration, and no matter what I couldn’t seem to shake it. Then the straw that broke the camel’s back was, the last game I played before I left, when you EX Cross Counter’d at the end…I went to punish it with sweep to get the knockdown, and my fucking roundhouse button went out (important note: this is a brand new stick). It mindfucked me and you just killed me. I was talking to Phil on aim and I was just like, “Ok, I’m done.” It wasn’t a good night for SF, lol.

Time for some more Super Metroid. Haven’t touched that game in weeks, maybe months…

Wow… I’ve always liked my HRAP1 more than TEs just for the feel. Then when people’s stuff started screwing up randomly, and dealing with others’ messing up, I realized the circuitry is far better too. MadCatz is just so damn cheap on the inside. POS.

I won’t lie, FlyMike, Young Heihachi made me sit up and pay attention. No homo. Also, for some reason, TTT2 looks smoother than I expected it to be. I don’t quite know how to explain it, but that video made me think I was watching VF for a brief moment. The animation just seems to flow better.

The Kaz/Hei shoulder check at the end was a nice touch too.

And this is the part where I tell it like it is and be the perpetual buzzkill that I always am. It’ll be a great game, but as much as I’ll love it the netcode will still probably suck and the Memphis Tekken scene will be just as uninviting (save for the 3-4 people including myself who show up at Hastings).

As hype as ttt2 looks and as much as i would love to join the hype unfortunately for me i’m already all booked for next year with mvc3’s release. Since i plan on taking the game really serious on a competitive level i want to focus much of my time into the game with ssf4 falling right behind and everything else just for casual play. So i will probably be playing ttt2 when it releases but just like with every other tekken release before it, it will be casually and nothing more.

SRKFADC: I can def help with some Tek basics and such when TTT2 drops or hell man if you ever want to mess with T6 just let me know. Gene, Clark, Bishop and Mike are also great resources and are usually at fight nights

Duckie: There is some hope for TTT2 in Mem. You have Gene, Clark, Bishop, You, Lycan and me who all come to fight nights on the regular and will play. If Tek is there Mike should make it out too. Then add in Josh, who is interested and Squab and Abe as possibles. Thats not bad if you think about it. Its not SF level but its something.
