Do you guys run any KoFXIII setups in Nashville at Game Galaxy? I’ve been really digging the hell out of this game, and I’ve gotten a few friends into it, but it’s hard to get any exposure with the god awful netcode. I’ve got weekends off regularly these days and wouldn’t mind swinging down that way. I’m digging UMvC3 as well, but just faintly dabble in it, and a little more exposure in that would be great too.

Ggs to sev and dax, crack session was bawse! Def leveled up a lot today. If I keep this up i’m gonna be scary strong soon. Welp thats enough kof for one week, time to take a break from it this weekend and hit up some of this other games I got laying around here so please nobody bother me for the rest of the week. I’ll catch up with everyone weds hopefully if I dont have to work. Anyone looking to take down flymike will have to get past me first before you can consider yourself worthy of his challenge. Anyone got a problem with that then come see me personally, and bring money also. Sev you’re my next target! I’m already creeping up on you 
To chime in on the tier/general kof discussion. There’s another thing to take into account. The fact that you’re choosing a team of characters. You can spam top tier characters all you want, but then you find that you have a team of anchors, people that need meter to do damage and no good way to build it. Tier lists for KOF don’t take into account where a character would fit best on a team and how drastically different a character will be played whether theyre first, last, or the middle child no one thinks about. That’s one of my favorite things about KOF. You can have a Kyo, for example, on point and he’ll play a little conservative. The match will progress differently from the Kyo’s view because he’s thinking about the other two characters left, rather than if he were the last trying to burn through the opposition and secure the win with crazy drive combos.

I’d say we probably have a better KOF scene ( mid TN ) right now than plenty of other places, being that we have like 5-6 players in Nash, 2-3 in Cookeville and maybe a few others scattered around. There’s alot of people who haven’t tried it yet or whatever, but who knows, maybe they will pick it up and we could have a solid 8 people or more per tournament. I’m speaking about tournaments that don’t have GA and AL players, at least. Memphis has a very nice scene going. I’m jelly. Go play that shit. It is fucking crack. Until you play Pat. He’s a jerk, and hurts your feelings with King and Ralf. <3
