Ok yeah I’m with Eraser here man. Mixups in regards to Bison aren’t the issue. Bison is a straightforward character, and he is VERY good at what he does. He’s got two, MAYBE three legit mixups. More if you include frame traps. He doesn’t have much as far as mixups but he’s still a GREAT character because of his other tools (footsies, safe pressure, great specials, etc).

Vanilla was so awesome. I was so bad up until like… mid-SSF4, though. I wish Vanilla had stuck around another year though, or I had picked up Akuma first thing. Man, he had everything. His vortex was like, literally inescapable, roundhouse loop, damage… It was sweet. People had no idea how cheap Akuma’s vortex was until they looked back on it, like a year later. Most players hadn’t gotten OS’ing down yet, unblockables hadn’t been figured out, everyone thought his command divekick wasn’t that good for some reason, etc.
Which makes me wonder if they are making a new KOF. I would be happier if they just let KOF 13 hang out for a while. I would be kind of annoyed if they had KOF 14 this time next year. I’ll still be learning 13.

I imagine they would be working on a new project, with KOF 13 being so well received. I’d bet that they’ll support it with new content maybe for a year and then begin work on the next game. Maybe not a KOF, maybe a fatal fury or something. But that’s what I’d imagine. Either way I need some Rock Howard and Hotaru. …and some Butt.
Actually don’t be surprised if KOF 13 stays out for a while, possible patches excluded. The whole reason they started calling the games XI, XII, XIII etc is so that SNK wouldn’t lock itself into a yearly production schedule leading to rushing out product just to make a street date.

Patrick plays it but, I don’t think he practices at it. Doromac still loves it but is opposite of Patrick (training mode monster). There’s a guy who has come to a few of our tournaments and has a very solid Doom. Other than that, out-of-staters or randoms fill up the rest of our brackets.
