This engrossing:
So after playing the game for an entire day I invited Doug over on Wednesday to check out the game. The screen loads up, we get to the actual game, I’m in the city and Doug remarks, “oh, so its letter-boxed?” I was like what? And I started trying to fix the display until I realized I couldn’t.
I had played a whole day without noticing that the display was letterboxed format. So yeah.
Funny you mention Dark Souls. This game is essentially Dark Souls x Shadow of the Colossus, x Monster Hunter x Pokemon.
Like DS, it doesn’t hold your hand, and the enemies are tough and challenging. Especially at night, Traveling at night is like taking that path left to the skeletons after the first bonfire in DS and getting murdered because you simply were not ready for that area that early in the game. The combat feels solid and weighty. I can go on about the combat but I’ll refrain.
Like SotC, you can travel huge vistas and long distances and see giant monsters, climb them, then stab them in the eyeball. Yes, you no longer have to swing at the knees of giants like you are fighting the Gaping Dragon. You can climb up them, get to a vital spot, and commence to stabbing.
Like Monster Hunter, there is always a new threat or some hidden beast it seems around every corner. Also crafting.
Like Pokemon, you can grow your main Pawn into an awesome Mage or strong Warrior, influence their AI, and basically teach them to fight and support the way you like it. Then you can play online and your Pawn can be hired by other players for a spot on their party, learning about monsters and areas, all without leaving your side. Then they “return” to you with gifts or schwag.
And as a bonus, lets say someone used your pawn and did a quest you havent gotten to yet. When your pawn returns, they will have “learned” about that quest and area, so when you that quest yourself they will give you better warnings about the dangers, fight better, and even show you hidden paths and treasure, all learned from the other player’s game.
Some of us were ready to loot that shit at level 2 or rape black knights in the burg at level 5, or kill the dragon on the cliffs at level 8 
But lets be real, did you even make it to the catacombs at level 2?
Also, some of us were able to master the epic task of moving around in that game and not falling through floors or getting caught on walls or dead enemies or other similar feats of navigation.
Correction … That game wasn’t ready for me: armor dude at the bottom of the spiral steps wasn’t ready for lvl 8 Squabbler … Big dragon on cliff wasn’t ready for lvl 11 Squabbler … Fuck what a guide says, I PLAY the game and explore just like it was intended.

Ok so far i can’t seem to get any set ups for soul 5 outside of maybe a few on ps3 so chances are as of now that it may have to run on ps3 instead or just canceled altogether unless i get confirmation soon. Other than that looks like everything else is a go.
I will be doing a final count on set ups the next few days so i will be contacting all of you who are planning on bringing one both on here,fb and or text so stay tuned.
On the whole toilet bowl scenario in all honesty if it was possible for me to be both drunk and high before the match i guarantee i would ocv the opposing team by myself, no offense but drunken style paul just cant be stopped! lol I’ll let Nutsak run bryan because i dont want to make him look bad (shut up Johnny!)

AE team memphis, who’s it gonna be? and who is captain? I’m assuming Woot is captain? I know i like the idea of woot,squabb,Dax,Sev if he plays like he did vs majin at throwdown 2 and either Rukus or Orel if he’s not mindfucked by Martin LOL!! I think that team has a very good diversity if you ask me. I think Rukus needs to be in the team cause well that nigga gay lol sev and o can do a trojan match to fight for the last spot. DO IT!!! LOL

I will let you know if i need it kinetik. so far we are good on set ups for everything else, it’s soul calibur thats the problem. you can however bring it for casual play since we are trying to keep set ups split apart from tourney matches and casuals so it wont interfere with the tournament matches but it’s totally up to you since it wont net you free entry. Only set ups used for tournament matches waives fee. let me know if you still want to bring it for casuals tho so i can add it to the list for that.
Same goes for anyone else not bringing a set up for tournament play you can however bring one for casuals if you like. We will have an entire section in the back of the room dedicated solely to casuals and mm’s and all that stuff but make sure you get with me first if you are so i can add it to the list, i don’t want to have extra set ups just laying around taking space if we wont be using them. I believe we can accommodate a maximum of 9 to 10 set ups for that? correct me if i’m wrong squabb.
Also myself and the rest of the staff will be labeling every set up brought and we will assign it a station each, we will label them for you and send you to the assigned station but you are responsible for your own set up, we will not be held liable if anything happens to it lol
With that said all games provided with each set up will also be properly labeled and kept behind OUR table and we the staff will be switching the games in and out as needed so as to no games get stolen and or swapped with someone else’s copy. I will be monitoring everything going on as much as i can as well as the rest of the staff so hopefully everything goes smoothly.
With that said just one more week!!!

Yea but, man lol…y’all might actually want to play the game. Against people. And then maybe practice a little. It’s not going to be as free as you think. Guys in MidTN were actually messing with the game for a sec 2 years ago. Doing full combos if nothing else. They don’t half-step in these competitions and enter stuff for nothing. The only thing they might’ve been concerned about was that you all would get to play Tekken players and they wouldn’t. But that hasn’t even been the case. And if they launch you, they will do whole combo with intent to kill you. Then laugh AFTER the K.O., not before.
I’m not trying to hype anything up, I’m dead serious. Shit is gonna be fun, but you dudes do wanna win right? I was so confident at first because honestly, I thought there’d be a huge leveled up by this point, but going by just the stuff those guys did back then, shit, I don’t know anymore.
