On the subject of music, what media players do you guys prefer? itunes, Winamp, Zune etc. And also, what kind of mp3 players do you guys rock out with? I use a Zune & the Zune software but I was wondering if there you guys had tried a lot of what’s out there and what’s your take on what you tried. I like the Zune software because it’s aesthetically rich and sexy and what not. That’s almost my top priority because generally speaking any media player software is going to do the basic stuff (album art, song info, blah blah) but Zune has a nice little feature when you’re online it shuffles through pictures of the artist(s) you’re currently listening to and I can appreciate that and it screams swag. Your thoughts?

Teching forward stops that. Luckily, you can predict forward techs with Nemesis and do the H command grab. Wouldn’t work with other characters though.

So the nod to me that’s in Skullgirls has been revealed. This was pretty much my reaction:
Ducky I have been meaning to ask seeing as you know more about this game than anyone that I know. When played in tourney will it be 1v1 or 3v3? Also what is the roster count going to be in this game. I heard it was rather small.
The game is designed to be played in whatever ratio you want, whether that be 1v1, 1v2, 1v3, 2v2, 2v3, or 3v3. It’s pretty much like the CvS series, where 1 character will be super-powerful, 2 characters will be slightly buffed, and 3 characters will have normal health and damage.
And the final roster count is 8 at launch, but that’s really not a big deal. Custom assists for each character more than makes up for the small roster, as does the ration system. DLC characters will be added over time, and I’m told they have a lot of them planned. Right now the plan is to get the game out, then use the money it brings in to fund new character development.
The roster size does not bother me. I was more wondering about the whole 1v3 issue but you cleared that up. From what i am seeing it is like a mix of Arcana Hearts and MvC. Will it offer custom color palettes or is it a select few?
More like MvC2 and CvS2. Mike Z pretty much wanted to make a game that drew strengths from his favorite games, yet had none of the weaknesses.
As for the palettes, each character has at least 14 different colors that I know of. Possibly more by now. Some of them are references to other things, like Filia has a Hatsune Miku palette, Parasoul has one that makes her look like Kneesocks (from Panty & Stocking /w Garterbelt, an insanely funny anime if you haven’t seen it), and a ton of others. One of the neat things they did with color palettes is each one has a button shortcut, so once you find the one you like, you memorize the button press for it (ex: LP+HK, or MK+MP+HP) so you can get to it quickly.
Thats cool. I will look up that anime. I just finished RIN so i am looking for something new to watch.
