I feel you. I don’t think including ANY kind of pot bonus will leave anyone with reason to complain.
I think this is the part where I link a video of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River” but for Squabb’s sake, I’ll refrain.
Also, I’m off the fence. Tapatalk sucks. On paper it’s great, and when it does what it’s supposed to do, it’s great. But it’s farrrrrr too unstable. I only use it because it still seems faster than 3G (4G in parts of Nash I’m in most often is spotty) when I can actually get it to work.
Oh, one last thought that hit me earlier. Now that EA I hella on point, they need to put out another Road Rash. Let that marinade. Yeah…new drawls city.
I feel Gief/Bison is 5.5/4.5 simply because Gief can take advantage of Bison’s greatest weakness which is a consistantly weak anti-air (obviously compared to SRK characters and characters with great anti-air hitboxes like dudley/rog/sakura). At best you can hope for a trade if the gief’s spacing is on point or if you read it j.mpx2. I use cr. HP more to anti-air on gief because it’s a much more even trade. Bison also has every escape in the world and a better footsie game which doesn’t make the match bad, you just have to stand your ground for as long as possible. There’s also alot of gimmicks Bison can use against Gief that aren’t nessicarily unsafe.
woot: I can hit Gief clean with Stand RH 75% of the time and if it is a trade, I’ll take it…I don’t see it being an advantage either way with the two characters…
Is there anyone in here that actually uses both Gief AND Bison? That is why I think it is even, all the Bison players say Gief has the advantage but they don’t use Gief against Bison themselves…
Hiryu, can you add this to Page 1?

Oh sorry, I just hit up the forum to see if anyone is going to fight night mostly and just saw alot of comments about it.
Jason: The Giefs that are trading or beating my HK are using J hp on long range jumps and j. d. mk close up, it’s actually more like they are aiming for my HK rather than myself.
Tim: I definitely know those moves give Bison a problem but up close Gief has to guess lariat and either low MK or stand RH up close will eventually hit gief since the gief HAS to come to you…but even so it’s still more in Bison’s favor if those are the options…Bison never really “needs” to jump anyway…and since it gives me problems, what can Gief do about EX flying fist? I know headbutt immediate but that is only if Bison is being silly doing it point blank and you can’t focus it…stand RH from Gief timed when on top of his head maybe? Has to be something weird…
Our Feb 21 fight night will consist of Final Round Prep and be PS3 only with multiple “mini” tournaments (which are free or $1 entry per person, have not decided)
What a really good deal! I definitely purchased one just now. I would have gotten two, but I don’t play nearly enough matches to get into self-destruct-ex-upball-wasting all my meter-controller-smashing mode these days.
Ya this is the point I was trying to make, it’s probably very slighty in Gief’s favor just because of knockdowns but ya bison’s normals can give Gief a lot of trouble, arguably than gief’s can give Bison’s. Seems like some people don’t realize that you notice a move only being really being good when it’s done to you, hard to tell just how effective the move is when you’re using it and seeing it trade/ get beat etc.
The oldest trick in the book for a twitchy gief on wakeup is doing DR to fake Headstomp and the Gief will either try to lariat headstomp or the DR coming back but at the right range it’s impossible to lariat DR, it always loses clean. A smart gief will EX green hand that shit everytime though.
Another Gimmick is using Neutral jump Fierce as gief is waking up, most giefs cannot stand it and will immedately try to lariat it, but neutral Fierce will always beat lariat at certain ranges as well.
Back throw Empty DR crosses Gief up when you land with cr. lk. Also meaty throw beats lariat and SPD, does not win against EX SPD.
