Television General Discussion

As of now, no.

Gotcha, was wondering how he damaged ??? with his fists in the early episode

And Homelander a completw piece of shit after episode 4

Summary

In the comics Butcher actually injects Hughie with Compound V. He gains super strength and endurance though its not fully realized/explored. When he’s first exposed to compound V he punched a whole through a supe known as Blarney Cock. And later towards the end of the series when they finally capture A-Train Hughie kicks his head off

Mothers Milk has super strength and endurance. He gained it genetically instead of synthetically due to his mother working for at a plant that made compound V. She became over exposed to it. He constantly needs to drink his mothers breast milk to stay alive as well.

The Female/Kimiko (Kimiko is a name given to her in the Amazon Adaptation. She’s always referred to as The Female in the comics.) gained her powers through being left in a bucket of Compound V as an infant

@HD-Man and @Geese_Pants episode 4 is where he and Mauve attempt to save the transatlantic flight yeah? Where after he accidentally kills the pilot he just goes “oops all berries!” And bails? Yeah. That scene was fucked. Especially when he gave a fucking eulogy about the little girl. The fucking balls on Homelander.

The was probably my favorite scene from a drama stand point. My favorite scene in the series so far though is the god damn Dolphin scene with The Deep.

Summary

I knew something was up with MM.
What happens once Mother’s Milk’s mother dies?

The terrorist killed the pilot first, then Homelander killed the terrorist…inadvertently destroying the controls. I thought the show was going to add when Homelander screamed so loud he busted all the passengers’ eardrums.

That was still a fucked up scene.

Give Anthony Starr all the awards.

Summary

MM’s mother never dies in the comics. Her powers manifest and she becomes a gigantic blob and her nipples are like tendrils. It’s fucked up. Lol

As for the airplane scene: there were 2 pilots. The terrorist in the cockpit had killed one by slitting his throat. Homelander used his eye lasers to kill the terrorist but accidentally killed the other pilot and destroyed the controls. That’s when he was just like “uh…we gotta go”

Summary

I just re-watched it…the terrorist killed the last pilot.
Homelander then beamed the terrorist.

Ah. My bad. It happened so fast. Either way. Fuck Homelander.

I’m likely gonna read the GN volumes after finishing the first TV season…

GN? Que?

Graphic Novels…

Ooooh. Ok. I definitely recommend it. Prepare to be in a constant state of “WHAT THE FUCK?” as you’re reading it.

You’ll be grossed out, offended, regularly in a state of shock, awe and horror and genuinely angry at times.

It’s a great series.

Yeah I just got the Humble Bundle…gonna drop them into the portable drive and take to work.
