Summary
He kinda gets his comeuppance as the season progresses. Vought unofficially kicking him out of The Seven, being sent to Ohio and him hooking up with a chick that ends up sexually assaulting/raping him. Among several other things. Also when he tries to do good it blows up in his face in spectacular fashion. The Dolphin scene had me fucking howling in laughter.
I doubt heâll get murdered though. He and Starlight are the only living members of The Seven by the end of the comic book. But this adaptation is radically different in a lot of ways. So weâll see.

An epic issue of Playboy for me was that one from 1998 where my honey âDowntown Julie Brownâ was in there. (not to be confused with âregularâ Julie Brown; yes there was 2 of them on MTV) It was a legendary dayâŚI never imagined Iâd get to see her like thatâŚyessssss it was such a wonderful thing. Itâs also good she posed before old age started catching up with herâŚMs. Brown was one of the finest things on MTV back in the day. I knew in advance she was going to be in so I was there for it day 1. I bought that shit SO fast.
The other legendary issue for me was that one where Jisela and Veronica from MTVâs Road Rules were thereâŚsadly they only did a couple of picturesâŚnot a full photoshoot youâd expect. I think fitness model Kiana Tom was also in that issue.

Homelander is straight up terrifying in certain scenes, his presence brings chills. Really digging the actor playing him

Yeah. Homelander is a little bit older in the comic but deaging him honestly isnât an issue to me. The actor who plays him in the series is really good and fits his âall American good guyâ persona he shows the public.
Theyâve tone down how fucked up he is but heâs still pretty dark and fucked up. His casual willingness to throw away any number of lives in order to protect Vought and The Seven can be chilling.
The actor is really good at portraying the Homelanders mental state and now easily he can flip a mental switch too.
