street fighter has never been about juggles. juggling in street fighter is dumb and not needed. it’s about strings, pokes, and grabs. if you add the bound system, you might be able to add one or two more hits, and then they either reset or become a dead body and hit the ground. i think the bound system wouldn’t work well in a 2d fighter at all, would probably end up making the whole system pretty weak. and sf3 had a great community to begin with. the people who disliked the game were fans who probably sucked at the game cuz the parry system weeded out the crappy players. it’s the people who suck at the game that are the ones who whine about it. like sf4, all the crappy people think sagat is op, when he isn’t. he’s just solid with very little weaknesses. but in no way op. i’ve seen dhalsims, gens, guiles, rose, even blanka beat sagat. so unless these people have a valid reason as to why 3s sucks, it’s probably cuz they’re utter trash at the game
If i want to play a game with a bound system. I play Tekken then. I don’t need my completely different game to have a system from another game i like.

Because with the Bound system there wouldn’t be any damage scaling. Is it really that hard to fucking understand? If you have it the way it is now, there would be no point in it because damage would be so scaled that it wouldn’t do anything. The way you want it, it would make it juggles be damn near instant kills. Are you sure you can read? I think you are just that fucking stupid.
It was part of the reason the game got popular later on. It always had a community. See, this is where 09’ers get the bad rep. They act as if the Daigo v Jwong was the reason that 3rd Strike had a community. It had a community before then. Just not as big as, say, ST had. Because we all know it wasn’t at EVO or SBO before 2004. Come on now.

every game’s intricacies pertain to eachother, and the best equalibrium in games pertains to our motor sense. slapping shit on mortal kombat armaggedon seem to have worked only because of our perception of what a fighting game needs, yeah the original mk mechanics are slightly dull in comparison to other fighters but armaggedon was a mess
