I was totally bored and screengrabbed a lot of the movie and wrote up a summary or my take on it. Plenty of pictures of Christie from behind.

No way, the guy plays the same role every movie, frankly I’m getting bored of him.
I have not actually seen Legend of Chun-Li or Tekken, so I can’t judge those yet, but I thought Alpha and the SF4 OVI were LEAGUES better than Generations. That shit was unbearable. My fondness of Alpha may just be nostalgia, but I thought it was pretty decent, and I really enjoyed Ties That Bind. I was smiling through most of it, especially the stuff with Ken. Some nice, honest-to-God characterization for him.
lol you really hate, I didn’t think DOA took it’s self seriously at all, Legend of Chun Li is guilty of that. DOA2LE was awesome, went down hill after that. Anyway it’s your opinion, I’ll carry on reading (costume design sucked )
Costume design did not suck: Proof=you spend the whole movie with looking at Christie.
There is not a single fight in SFA (except a friendly match between Ryu and Ken) or Ties That Bind. That’s the main reason all the four OVAs are garbage and the live action movies mop the floor with them. If one still wants to rank the OVAs against each other, I suppose that SFA is the best for its look, followed by TTB for its Falcon Punch + Titshock combo.
…wait Hwoarang was in this movie??
no he wasnt. though its kinda weird…i heard he got casted…so im wondering if he got edited out
Yeh heard he was casted too. I’m guessing a lot got left on the cutting room floor.
best part was seeing people do moves and it wasn’t poorly done like JCVD SF.
mostly jin (d+3+4, db+2, probably more) and bryan (lots of stuff but I don’t remember motions).
glad to see im the only one who noticed.
noticed what? did I miss something?
I was hoping for a three ring circus, which I guess could be conceivably done in close quarters while dodging stuff (maybe he did and I missed it).
Forgot to mention there were at least three wall moves done as well that was implemented in T6.
the fact jin did did his 3 hits, maybe i misread you.
Definitely not as bad as Legend of Chun-Li. Pretty ‘meh’ all around. It was pretty much your typical videogame movie.
“As he?s about to strike down upon Jin with great vengeance and furious Anger…”
oh shit, no, you didn’t! Pulp Fiction ftw!!
This wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Not the greatest. Heihachi shouldn’t have beasted on people, instead of just acting like a biznitch the entire time…
Well, I went back to playing Tekken 6 thanks to this movie…After 5 or so months abscent, still beasting w/Raven.
So a buddy of mines told me to rewatch the movie after the credits and sure as shit there was extra stuff going on afterwards.
Apparently during the whole thing with Kazuya ordering the soldier to kill Heiheichi, Heiheichi basically orders the soldier to lower his gun and show his obedience. So yeah i’m guessing he escaped and we’ll see a possible sequel.
Man, why didn’t you spoiler that for me man? Now it is ruined. I guess your gonna tell me that chun li beats bison at the end of the that kristen kruek movie too? Stop trampling over my dreams of enjoying these masterpieces in their entirety.
