Yeah the whole system is pretty much a mess with people playing for the wrong reasons. Whenever somebody invites me because they think they got a free win I quit immediately after I beat them so they are left thinking “I can easily beat that guy, just let me get one more chance.” But they never get it. Hopefully it deters them or changes their attitude.
DR Online is wack like Mike Tyson’s drug problem. Everyone i’ve lost to on there couldn’t beat me if their lives depended on it if it weren’t for lag. I’m fed up with online fighting games in general because of DR.
THANK YOU. Just change DR Online to Lili flips a lot 07’. Hell Even Lee’s d+4, 4, 4, 4 can be down right impossible to completely block (even tho I’ve known how since Tekken 2) with enough lag. Hell I’m a Master now and people at that level still use an assload of tricks. Namco needs to step their server game up goddamit…I got a damn good cable modem hard wired to my ps3 so I should have a much better connection.
But shit, I agree sooooo much. I can’t help but laugh half of the time when I lose to lag tactics. I’m just sittin there in disgust like “God, I could triple perfect your bitch ass and yet you probably think you’re hot shit for doing that”. I think I may just stick to offline like the game is supposed to be played lol.
Online fighting games shouldn’t have rankings.
LISTEN UP EVERYONE YOU ARE ALL LAGGING CAUSE YOUR NAT IS TYPE 3 GO TEST YOUR CONNECTION AND LOOK WHAT YOUR NAT IS
TYPE 2 LETS YOU COMMUNICATE AND VIDEO CHAT
TYPE 1 LETS YOU PLAY WITH OUT LAGGING OR LAGGING OUT
sorry caps lol
i just forwared my ports and for the first time ever the game was running fast online
Truth.
Ode to Lili Abusers
…BITCH
stop doin all that flippin and shit
tired of all them tricks…
you hoe I’ma come kill you
IN REAL LIFE
that is all…
Nat Type 1 doesn’t make it so you don’t lag. Games online will always have lag dude. You’re playing with someone miles and miles away. If you are playing Tekken and you "aren’t lagging AT ALL’, then you probably haven’t played in any competitions and seen the difference. Anyway, not an insult, just letting you know it will always lag and it’s just the nature of the beast. But if anyone wants to play some a lot less laggy matches, then add me.
i play tekken offline all the time in my local arcade i just said there would be less lag with type 1 cause type 3 nat can cause major problems on the ps3 network
And how pre tell can i switch to NAT 1 I have been looking around. Ive fallen online due to lili and grabing marduc with tudo all day. Impossible to break especially when there is heavy lag.:annoy:
well i finally made it to Lonewolf, but u barely get any points for beating ppl lower than u. and u lose a ton of points when u lose to someone lower. sooo i prolly won’t stay up there for long.
Well I have the answer for that Lili garbage now. Wait for her do her kicks where her back is turned. You have SLIGHT frame advantage. Do a quick (10 frame max) punisher (I play Eddy so I use b3, 3) such as Feng’s b+12. Eventually they’ll get the message, and if they don’t? Well then free win.
Making sure you have the proper ports forwarded on your router is a good place to start. I did it about a week or so into playing DR:O and saw a noticeable difference. Some say using a wireless or wired connection matters too; I keep mine wired to the router since it’s only a couple feet away from the console so I can’t attest to that.
Truth
Yep, use Eddy’s b3, 3 ftw against Lili. It’s funny as hell when people start doing that and I just b3, 3 every time. They still keep doing it anyway, haha.
Lag wasn’t that bad for me today, although I only did like 7 games. It definitely decides to act up on its own…
That’s hot.
cheers to fellow Eddy player
Ya know, I just sidestep when a Lili starts doing their combo. For some reason, they just keep going. I poked one to death from the side in a match and they left.
Feng’s b+12 is a great way to start the match off anyway. And when I fought some feng players, they never make use of his uf+4 juggle. Nor his qcf+3 juggle(of course I get smacked up doing that X_X). All the players I played just like doing that freaking sweep and tryin ta stomp me to death. And as far as the rankings go…I think they should do it like GunZ.
heres how it should go, it’ll be a big room where people can set up smaller rooms. And the room your thrown into depends on your rank. I.E.
Beginner - 1st Kyu
1st Dan - 7th Dan
Shihan - Beserker
Sage - Divine fist
That what all that stupid crap can be avoided.
Those are my favorite juggle starters with Feng, ws 2 is really inconsistent and kinda hard to hit with anyway and df+3(?the kick that flips them backwards) is too difficult follow up if there’s any lag. I can usually connect his ws/qcf+3 after a successful d+2, for some reason people seem to like to jab after the d+2 connects.
Julia is usually who I fight flip-happy Lili’s with, her d,df+1,2 is great to punish when she turns her back.
