And isn’t Claudio part of some weird church too?

Those are not the only examples either.

  • Gasp * Two NamcoBandai fighting game titles Tekken and Soul Calibur borrowing from each other!!!
Spoiler

This has been going on for more than a decade with their move sets and several other assets. Every other video game development company with more than one fighting game title does this in some form or another.

Anyone know how much this is going to cost when it launches?

I heard might be $129.99

New Stages Video Footage:
Brimstone&Fire / Violet Systems / G-Corp Helipad / Arena /
Geometric Plane / Infinite Azure / Kinder Gym

New Game Mode: Treasure Battle - Main Menu “Leak”

So there’s no more character reveals left outside of DLC characters it seems

Also I had a chance to meet Harada when he comes to the Bandai Namco HQ in Sydney on the 25th because my cousin won 2 guest passes, but unfortunately he can’t go because of family reasons. Bummer.

Dude, the helipad stage theme is fucking garbage, holy shit. Worst track in Tekken history

not my fault mate :pensive:
i heared already a bunch of songs which i dont like but i guess thats what the jukebox option for you ps4 guys is there for.
on pc we can most likely mod songs out which we dont like.

I know of a great deal of recycled under the hood content. However, now Tekken has lost any identity and has resorted to using using key Soul Calibur designers to shape it. Staff was shared before, but the shared features were not so blatantly obvious and thematically out of place. Tekken is no longer a united whole and has become an amalgamation of opposing design philosophies with a lack of direction. There used to be a time where getting a new installment of Tekken was not about lowering expectations, but about how much they could improve the game.

This is what is available in Tekken 7:

what exactly would tekken7 need in your eyes to be a “improved” version in comparison to tekken6

Wait im confused, whats wrong with the pictures your showing.

So judging by the char select screen - there will be a total of 6 DLC characters, not including Eliza

There’s only two plus Eliza. at least in the season pass.

That would make the CSS oddly shaped then, and there’s already a slot for Random Select. Tekken for the most part (only exceptions being TTT, TTT2 and T5) always had an equally aligned select screen

i think it depends on how well its doing including the season pass.
when people buy it and it makes profit there would be no reason to not add some more.

i mean thats the only way to get money out of us since from what i heard costumes never cost
money.

The following image is not real. But, there is certainly a side to me that wishes that this was a thing.

A character like Kazuma Kiryu, 2B, or even Adam Jensen for example would not be bad for guest characters either, though I would hope it would be handled well. I hate it when subjects end up bordering on “fanfiction” levels when they are not executed well.

Some ideas for Haradas Tekken 7 Guests:

Geese/Terry from Fatal Fury or MOTW
Axel/Adam from Streets of Rage
One of the Bryants from Virtua Fighter
Someone from Fighting Vipers
Someone from Eternal Champions
Scorpion from MK

Best Theoretical Tekken Timeline with Respect to Tekken 7:

To begin, the occurences of previous games would be rewinded ala Mortal Kombat 9 with either Zafina or Jun receiving visions of the future. Roster would be reduced to martial artists, boss’ deadly pet, and science projects (playable boxing kangaroo and unplayable weaponized velociraptor sub-boss). A prize tournament would be held by Heihachi after one of his illegal business ventures was destroyed by an unknown group in an attempt to bait members of that group out while saving face with competitors. The tournament itself would take place on a large island, apart from outside battles with observing recruiters to make it look legitimate.

The gameplay would be overhauled. Charge would be removed. Fuzzy blocking would be removed. Movement would be simplified to effective backdashes without ducking (ala. Tekken 2) with immediate side to side movement (ala. Tekken 4).

Throws would be unbreakable at a disadvantage. Throws would be reduced to 1+3 and 1+2 commands with 1 and 1+2 breaks. All characters would be given a tackle while giving grappling specialists two (one leg/two leg). During mount all characters would have one tap out hold or head smasher or choke (with specialists getting three 1+3, three 3+4 throws with 1+3 and 3/4 break respectively) and opponent movement options with 1+2 (left, right, forward, suicide throw). Two handed ground pound flurry would start with 1, one armed ground pound with 2. Guessing opponent input correctly would switch mount. Mount would be exited only due to throw (non-movement), inactivity, or either kick button by top position.

All mid/high reversals and parries would be tied to b+2+4 with low parries/reversals tied to db+2+4. Wierd combinations with 1+4, 2+3, and three/four button combinations would be remapped to 2+4, d+2+4, f+2+4. Hopkicks would lose crush properties. While down attacks would be reduced to df+1+2 or df+3+4 with an even more generous window. Backroll would be limited to only follow sideroll which would now use 3. Toe kick would be replaced by kick sweep 3->4. Instant standup (u) would be replaced by armored 1+2+3+4 push away vulnerable to throws. Basic downed mount would be given to all characters.

Attacks would be limited to linear, full circular, and half circular left or half circular right while retaining some parry and homing properties. Every character would be given a back hop or back handspring with ub,ub that would link into at least one attack near walls. No juggle extensions (original spins can stay). Removed float property for jabs. Smaller hit boxes all around and fixes for improperly connecting hits and warping.

Stages that are reminiscent of Dead or Alive with Tekken theme and flare.

Halloween party crop with few fighters in the mix. No new martial artists. Reduced roster relative to predecessor. Horrible hair and poorly upgraded bad Tag 2 models. Reduced selection of modes. Paid DLC scheme as opposed to a complete product. Stages heavy with Instagram filters, low on particle effects, unnecessarily square and empty or infinite with outdated background scrolling or floor breaks.

Also, soundtrack ear cancer, customization eye cancer, and returning endless juggles with added wall carry spin extension ending with bound-like pickup state.
