TEKKEN 7 | Lounge

lol i just want them to keep kazuya…i hope he turns more and more into a robot with each version

Those drawings of Kazumi are really nice. I personally think the dress is a little too big. It might be too distracting during actually gameplay, but she looks really great here.

If the system becomes

If it helps, when people start customizing the characters, the most probable thing is that the dress will be gone, and will put some stupid stuff.

They need to chill on customization in Tekken 7. That whole cake in the face stuff was pointless in TTT2. I just wish they would give Jin back his hoodie suit he had in Tekken 4. Also, I agree with a previous poster that they need to cut the moveset list down. Learning someone like Jin, Kazuya or Lili basic moves are not hard but when you look at someone like King, Nina or Lei the movelist is insane.

I am fine how it is. However, King and Nina have a lot of command chains (the reason why it’s bigger). No idea about Lei. But how are they gonna cut it down it’s how I wonder. I do have to say the when i started to learn characters, it was weird for me because of so many moves.

With most of the characters being around for over two decades, I’m sure folks already know what is used the most, what is fluff and what might be more useful with a few tweaks. They can start from there to begin streamlining the movesets.

I absolutely love Tekken. In my opinion it is my favorite fighting game, but I looked at it from the standpoint of a noob. If I am picking up the game and saw all the characters and all the matchups I have to learn it might be a little initimidating. However, if I look at many of those movesets that would turn me off a lot more from the game. I know off hand that King, Ling, Lei, Hwoarang, Christie and Eddy alone each have anywhere from close to 130 to 160 or more individual movesets. That’s a lot for any new player to pick up.

Most of the moves are just there for juggles anyway. All those 3+ hit “combos” are for juggle filler once you get past the beginner level. You really only need to memorize around 20 moves per character(very generalized estimate) for the neutral game.

There is only one move you need for each character In Tekken’s neutral

and that’s the hopkick

hair comes from the mothers side

But Raven doesn’t have a hopkick…

You’re looking for science in a game where an old man can get blow out of his house by a platoon of self destructing robots and still live to tell the tale.

Case and point No one plays Raven for a reason :stuck_out_tongue:

that new character design for a new character though. So Assassins creed-esk. It feels like Ubisoft is gonna pull out a copyright strike on namco. lol

Check this out.

I have a bold prediction. Tekken 7 will mark the first milestone of the revival of the fighting genre (IE: above 3%) on console and its birth (of relevance) on the master race. Tekken 7 has already made alliances with Der Feuher Gaben, its only a matter of time before his lunch ends and Tekken 7 is added to steam.

NAMCO can capitalize on the obvious mistakes of Capcom and Netherealms, and working with Unreal 4 could make this fighter the first truly cross-platform, cause wit fighters the KB/M vs Controller problems are non-existent.

I stand alone

what about El Negro though?

Wow I’ve played Tekken 2 so many times and have never knew there was a marking on the floor. Now that’s insightful.

I noticed something there but obviously didn’t notice the symbol.

I’m not surprised that T7 is wrapping up loose ends that reach far back as far back as t2 I always got the feeling there was a lot of stuff left out of the story to be revealed as twist later.

I’m looking forward to this after playing my first Tekken TT2 today and man it’s a blast compared to some of the other fights I’ve played.
