But muh Julia
was talking to on player who say movement and sidestep is nerfed in this game making mishmas even better
Akuma they said has the smallest move list and has trouble in this game
So true. 7FR on PC is the only thing that came of E3 that really interested me and it has made me so happy!
I hope Bandai Namco does a good job with the PC Port I was pretty burned with Mortal Kombat Xâs PC port on top of it being left for dead, and Street Fighter V on PC had a ton of issues, especially with itâs optimization. PC is my main fix for gamess, but I hate it when the platform is treated like shit.
For all the King hopefulls:

This is probably still one of the best King guides and is still pretty applicable
Akuma IMO still needs more move variety to make him more Tekken-like, but seems this current one is here to stay.
Suffice to say, from what Iâve been reading around, he does change the gameplan on how to approach fighting him and how to play him, as now the opponent has to deal with proper hit-confirms and arguably the best goddamn low attack in the game (his sweep). Isnât that thing practically unpunishable?
Trade-off to having some decent normals and safe strings is that he just LOOKS linear as fuck.
As for FRâs gameplay in general, I thought the buffed the movement up again from previous version of T7, unless I misread.
I do know that backrolling from the ground is no longer a suicidal get-up move (you can still get hit hard by stuff, but NOT re-juggled).
Oh, and while PC gameplay looks nice, they definitely need to not pull a DoA 5 on everyone.
Even better if it came with crossplay⌠oh, and do NOT have an option to filter-out playing against specific hardware, because IMO that shit made it a lot harder to find anyone to play on SF5.
Man donât get me started with DOA5.
I already hate DOA to begin with, but having that kind of poor excuse of online play just gives me yet another reason to hate it.
I donât mind DOA5LR at all (though to be fair, I have others around me who also play it on a competitive basis).
If âJayceeâ were to return, then I wonder if Namco-Bandai would make her into a heel⌠<3
Although, Jaycee seems to be a TTT2-only deal.
On one side she was in TR on the other Julia was used in SFxT not JC. In any event IIRC her outfit is an item you can unlock.
Whatâs wrong with DOAâs online structure?
PC-wise⌠they released it, but promise the online for PC version wouldnât be ready for 3 months down the road.
Then that turned into close to 5 months⌠before a âbetaâ of the online mode came out.
It turned out to be complete ass⌠so instead of trying to fix it any further and then finally releasing online properly⌠they gave the fuck up and backed out on that.
So yeah, they basically chumped the fuck out on the PC version, despite a number of people who were waiting on it/have bought it.
When you look at the history of fighting games on PC, it kindaâ makes you wonder why anyone even bothers to play them on that platform anymore.
When consoles were a bigger thing and such, yeah most PC games didnât have a big variety of stuff on their, but seeing as how the market has been growing and more people are gaming on PC as well as seeing more TYPES of games being released, makes you wonder why more developers donât even TRY harder.
Hell, putting game on a console nowadays, the people who own such have to go through similar process as those installing a game on PC⌠including waiting for patches if shit doesnât operate properly.
I just want developers of fighting games to⌠not screw things up on PC ports.
So there you go guys⌠CEO 2016 was the last Tekken Tour tournament that used the Vanilla version, and EVO 2016 will officially mark the Tourâs switch to Fated Retribution. Pretty damn excited!
Soon theyâll learn the power of buffed King. Also sone Akuma shiuld be hype
Akumas sweep is not safe at all
Shit is death on block like any other knockdown sweep
Heâs extremely linear though even for this game where movement is toned down
The thing with his sweep though is thereâs no special block animation for it. Kazuyas U/F+4,4 string has that block animation on the low that makes it easier to punish. Luckly Akuma doesnât have that.
you just gotta get used to it
every low heihachi in tag 2 has except the generic down 4 is launch punishable
his db 3 does the same thing where is passes though the opponent
that doesnât even knock down and its launch punishable
jins down 4 is also like that where it doesnât stagger on block but its - 15 or so
Iâm not saying itâs good. Just that it could be worse. Not having that special block animation is beneficial since thatâs 1F or more that you get away with depending on the opponent.
