Still waiting for Eliza.
I hope they don’t try to “fix her face” like they did with all the other female characters.
She looks perfect as she was in TR. If they fuck around, they are going to mess it all up.
And then we might end up with another Nina horror story. They already butchered Lili enough, let Eliza keeps hers.
hey great big hero(lol) i played tekken during the 90’, and honestly im dissapointed at the transformation tekken undergoes, theres a difference between veraity and going full scre* it to appeal to as many potential buyers as possible. and also this forum is public and i can discuss whatever i want even if you dont like it ok big hero?.
Big hero, huh? @samirerre Tell me something. What is this? This looks like something a 12 year old would type. Unless English is not your first language, then you may want to consider going back to school to learn some fundamentals on proper spelling, sentence structuring, and use of punctuation. This is just for the sake of coherency and for allowing others to take you a little more seriously. Granted, mistakes will happen every once in a while but come on.
Now, your argument is that you simply do not like certain aesthetics that relate to the Tekken series, thus you complain about it. Voicing your honest opinion on a subject is one thing, but when you go on a thread and say stupid shit, that’s where the line has to be drawn. The reason why several people (myself included) find this baffling is because Tekken was already known for having crazy and “flashy” elements in the series. It’s been that way ever since the very first Tekken game. THE FIRST FUCKING GAME. Then you have the nerve to ask for “real fighters.” If you’re looking for “real fighters” then it may not be a good idea for you to be on a Tekken forum of all things… or SRK in general. Because, the fighting games that are on showcase here are also fictional, retaining a large degree of flashy and/or crazy elements as it is. This isn’t anything new. Complaining about these in Tekken is damn near the same thing as complaining about juggles, knowing that they’ve always been part of the series ever since it’s conceptualization. If you are don’t like a certain aspect of a game, you could either deal with it as you play the game or you could just play something else. Please keep in mind that I’m not the only one who thinks you’re crazy here and this is not the first time you posted something as weird as that either.
dont patronize me with your native english asshole, and i DIDN’T complain,i just got frustrated on how tekken relies less on martial art’s and more toward’s well…shounon anime, and if this is not the place to talk about it then where should i go to huh? the macdonald’s forum? kim kardeshian’s twitter acount?( yeah im bit crazy i guess).but you get the point if you dont like posts, dont post back insults ok mr hero.
oh look heres another kid trying to look cool like the big hero,
you guys do realize im trying to bring discussion but morons like yourselves are making things hard and give the community a bad name.
srk needs a system that will keep idiots like mr.big hero and fata1ty away until they will reach the proper age
to communicate with other human being’s.and using quote meme’s dosent really make you right OK?
BUSTER WOLF!
So you start a discussion with a completely misinformed opinion, hoping for others to simply go along with it. Then even after several others had corrected you on that subject, you still went on with this little gem below:
So you want to have a “discussion.” Alright. Here is one for you. You see that post I quoted above? There are so many things wrong with this post (again, I’m not the only who believes this either. Seriously, scroll up). Based on this statement, you’re a fanboy and a very childish one at that. You give that sort of impression because you seem a little too worried about the aesthetics and the lore of the game, rather than the game play itself. Don’t get me wrong, in order to attract a staple audience, the game has to look relatively decent. What matters more is if the game is playable (which in the case of Tekken 7, it clearly is). As far as game play mechanics goes, there is absolutely nothing wrong with characters such as Katarina, Alisa and Lili defeating Bryan or Heihachi. There is also nothing wrong with liking or disliking certain characters in a game. Hell, there is also nothing wrong with liking or disliking cosmetic elements in the game either! However, when it comes to being a fanboy, there is definitely line you have to draw when it comes to voicing your opinion. There is a such thing as common sense, you don’t seem to have much of it. Coincidently, all of the said characters you’re not comfortable with are particularly young female characters and you’re just irritated by the idea of them being part of the roster, able to fight against other characters (as implied in the bolded text. That line of thought is extremely flawed and very kiddy). Not that it matters, especially not in terms of game play mechanics, high-level strategies and tier lists. Plus, you’ve already been told to have some suspension of disbelief and the reason for this is because Tekken is still a fictional series, no matter how you look at it.
^ Yeeeeaaaaaaah. This pretty much proves my point. The idea of some characters fighting against others in the game really does seem to disturb you, which does not make any sense in retrospect.
As far as the game play mechanics and the meta-game of Tekken 7 are concerned, every character is fair game. Each and everyone of them. The majority of individuals who post here on SRK (or any other competitive fighting game website) are more concerned with the game play and with how to win at the said game on a more consistent basis. Even with all of the fantastic elements within the game, Tekken is still going to be a competitive fighting game and what ever happens within the series is ultimately left up to the individuals (Harada-san AND/OR Namco-Bandai individuals who oversee the Tekken 7 project). That means if they want Xiaoyu (for example) to defeat Jack-7, then so be it.
Regardless of how much you like or despise certain characters, what it really comes down to in competitive Tekken game play are the players skill, movement (when I say movement, that includes spacing, BDCing, character-specific options crouching at the appropriate time to duck highs or block/low parry, SS-ing specific directions against certain moves and taking advantage of the environment of the stage), situational match ups between certain characters, frame data (which basically dictates the nature of top level game play, as you can clearly see in those Korean Tekken videos. This also applies to the majority of tournament-worthy 3D games such as VF, SC or DOA for example), and the characters’ options/move set.
Oh, but it does not stop there.
And, you also need to keep in mind that Namco-Bandai is also able to do what they want with the Tekken, even if you do not like it. Harada-san/Namco-Bandai operate the way they do with the Tekken series with both the competitive community and the casual audience in mind. Game development IS a business after all. And, sure you can post whatever you like. That doesn’t make you immune to other people correcting you if you’re wrong on something or if you type something stupid.
Like… this for example:
Yes the fuck you did.
^ You’re trying to tell me that this is not a foolish complaint? You complained about being “flashy” along with other elements that had already been part of the Tekken series for a long while now. This is obviously not the only time you made a weird ass, illegitimate complaint either.
Do you see a pattern here? And, I bet you don’t see anything wrong with this. There is a very good reason why a lot of people will not put up with your bullshit.
You are not in a position to talk. Especially, not after all of that nonsense you that you’ve been typing here for the last couple of days. If anything, you’re acting a lot worse than a kid, worse than even what I described earlier. Let me tell you this again: There is absolutely nothing wrong with posting an honest opinion. This is not the first time I said this and I even made that point clear. But, there is going to a come a point where an opinion is so idiotic that people are going to give you all kinds of shit because of it. In this case, you posted a completely misinformed opinion. A shit-post. The main idea is that you need to be careful what you are posting, otherwise people are not going to have a good reaction towards you. If you want people to take you seriously and stop reaming you then quit acting like a damn clown.
As far as freaks in fighting games…I LOVE THEM! Yes those are capital letters to show just how much I do. Yeah we can have the typical guys that look like real fighters, martial artists in gis, girls in lingerie…blah blah boring. Kangaroos! Demons! Bears! That is thinking outside the box, and bringing something fresh and creative.
just let it go already mr hero your making alot of fuzz over nothing, just like i said before if you dont like my comments then simply dont reply,
i dont mind anymore what tekken add’s to it dogs cats frogs fucking cockroaches and even the air itself can be a fighter, heck heihachis hair can even be a fighter doing ewgf’s with its pointy edge’s.
