Tekken Bites Tutorial Series - First Episode for Josie
i post this here because updating the dojo section at this time seems pointless before the forum
moved to the other place.
Tekken Bites Tutorial Series - First Episode for Josie
some cool yoshi stuff
kasumis is hard to react too
i suppose you could fuzzy it but just train your self to react to the animation of the kick
with strings like that I duck first because if she does the mid variation you get knocked away for some damage but it least its not a launch
they assume that if you block that one shell get punished especially by paul. since you arent reacting to it yet they do the high to get some safety
that string can be sidewalked too so i threaten with that in neutral. just micro sidesteps for posturing to get it in their minds that i will do it that also that should help up close with
df1
also make them hesitate to use fff2 with micro ones to the left
and kazuyas block punishment is kind of iffy lol
he cant punish get up kicks sometimes because the range on b1,2 has been nerfed.
funniest thing i heard all day after someone rage quits on me
yall all spam too much
but you play eddy lmfao
i mean yeah learn the matchup and all that but i just think if you play eddy you lose any right to complain about anything
Kodee has a great wavedash speed, basically a lightdash .
Check out the 90 percent kazuya combo at 6:28.
Has anyone mentioned that if Akuma flips over you, your X button becomes O for a brief second???
it would be more helpfull when you refer to the actual inputs instead of the butons on your device. /lp, rp, lk, rk
do you talk about his normal jump divekick and the divekick which is a option out of his special flip (hyakkisho /Move8).
they indeed use different inputs for the kick to come out.
I’m excited for Evo Japan Tekken 7. I have a good feeling it’s going to continue the hype from TWT Finals and Mastercup 9.
The only thing that’s killing the buzz for Tekken is Namco and how they space out DLC and what is contained in that DLC.
There hasn’t been anything worthwhile except for Geese and the input delay patch since launch.
You forgot the excitement Tekken Bowl brought.
whut…did you forgot
beside of noctis and all the stuff the arcade version got but we dont i doubt there will be anything else to come. i am not sure why they are so afraid of dlc chars.
even 2 per year till tekken 8 arrives would grant that people put money into the game and stay longer active/interested. maybe they will go that road with soulcalibur…
new cosmetic stuff for the arcade version.
I just want Lars’ wrestling custom to get to console…
Was really excited and looking forward to EVO Japan, but looks like @MrWizard took the McRibs money from Capcom to plaster their shit all over Twitch and decided to not give Tekken English commentary, except for half an hour on Sunday.
Now you gotta chase through Japanese streams if you wanna watch the third biggest game at the fucking event.
Goddamn…
same goes for guilty gear.
you would expect that someone who organized evo for so long and made it bigger and bigger is able
to provide english streams for all! the main games during the whole event.
So I wrote a salty tweet to James Chen, and he said that the reason there’s so much SFV is because the English stream for Street Fighter is handled by Capcom/Capcom Fighters.
So basically because neither Harada nor the guys at ArcSys are organizing a dedicated stream for Western viewers, we’ll not get any English commentary for Tekken or Guilty Gear unless we catch a couple of matches on the main stream (which alternates randomly between games) and the finals streams of course.
So basically if you want to take the piss, take it to Harada and Murray. EVO Japan is a Japanese tournament so naturally the baseline language and streaming platforms will be Japanese, unless the publishers provide their own streams.
Well would you prefer Japanese commentators or TastySteeve singing?
I agree that they should have arrange English commentators as most of their viewers don’t understand Japanese.
i am surprised that its up to the devs of the games.
at the end its mr wiz and crews tournament. shouldnt he want as many people watching it as possible?
i guess in that case the views have no influence in the income of the evo guys.
Looks like the goal for EVO Japan is to be successful domestically first and foremost.
I mean it’s not like you can’t watch all the games, and it’s not like they’re doing it worse than EVO Las Vegas, as the actual EVO doesn’t provide any foreign language commentary and streams, but EVO Japan does at least in a small capacity.
entrys itself are good so i guess it counts as a success for em.
i just hope that they change that in the future so that not only the finals have english commentated stream.
I saw some matches earlier, could have sworn I saw a pause and an in match button change followed by resume.
I guess the Japanese have so much honor there is no DQ.
