@“Evil Canadian” The reason PC is considered better is because of less input lag if you turn VSync off, the rest are just bonuses (e.g. faster loading times, mods, less online lag etc.). I will probably be hopping on to PC version coming week as well.
Are people who are saying in-match frame-data is cheating even serious? Perfect block punishing for the moves you KNOW frame-data is hard enough, there is no way you can arbitrarily read -14 after blocking a move and do a JU in time. You will see top level players doing 10f punishes for -12 or more moves all the time and these people have good enough reactions to duck non-jailing strings consistently and launch them. What was the last time anyone saw hopkicks getting 13f punished consistently if at all? There is no way a random Tekken player online can use it in real-time. If you still don’t believe me, I’ll pick a character you don’t know and feel free to use the mod to punish moves accordingly, good luck.
I think people SHOULD use it in matches, save replays and look back at the free punishment and other opportunities they missed (or where they should and should not press buttons). It will save you hours of finding what all those random moves were and then finding out punishes for each of them one by one. It is a great feature and VF actually had it about a decade ago, which was nothing short of amazing. Too bad Namco dropped the ball with barebone T7 console version, there are no replays options at all much less any extras.

Whoever asked about Asuka, I am not fully comfortable with the match-up myself but:
[] Her 10f punishment is only a single jab, not much risk if you do -10/-11 moves. She has a great punisher for -12, however.
[] Keep out of f4 range and step right, play on 1P side if possible.
[] Break 1+2 throw if she does a throw from crouch or f2/WS1+2 cancel
[] Learn to buffer chickens if Asuka you are playing is reversal happy
[] Her db4 series (where she does spinning low kicks into a high launcher) can be low parried even on hit
[] Low jab (or d4 or whatever) her 1+4,24_d4 “mixup” after 1+4
[] Duck and launch second hit of her WS14 if not being correctly used as a punisher
[] Don’t press buttons after getting hit by db3, all your short range and fast buttons will whiff and she will f2 you
[] Don’t rush her down or do so carefully, she has a lot of good panic buttons, keepout and CH launchers (i.e. cancans, b3, ss2, reversals, jabs strings, weak i11 magic 4 etc. etc.)
[] Her f3 and 123 is almost neutral, after spins it’s +6 so better not press buttons on block since a traditional flowchart is to do cancans on block. After 3 spins it becomes an unblockable (mid in T7), you can step all of these options to both sides (SSL is still easier imo). You can also interrupt her at neutral, but she can cancel the spins at any point. You can SSL unblockable even after you see the spark, depending on the oki situation it may or not not be steppable after techroll.
[] She has an unbreakable throw that does no damage, but gives her +8 or so for a free mixup. Usual 50/50 is d1+2/another low or 1+2.
[] At wall her d1+2 becomes a lot more viable and gives free f2 into further oki
[] Her FC df2 (low handswipe) is 0 on hit, many Asuka’s do another one after the first hoping for a CH which guarantees huge amount of damage. Don’t do highs after getting hit by it, but she can also do ws4 to interrupt any of the mids or simply step or block.
[] Her ss2 evades a lot of stuff like Bob’s ss1+2, completely safe and wall splats, so watch out for it near walls when pressuring her or when you are trying to fight back with wall at your back.
Might be missing some stuff, but these are the basics you should look out for. She has decent WS punishment now, but still can’t fully launch lows below -19. If you have a really good low below that, you can use it more against her than characters with WS launchers. Both her WS punishers (WS21 and WS14) are mid high and can be ducked if not used properly.
@evilj Nice share man, I remember his Nina from T4 days. Shame he stopped playing her after T4 and still sticking with Jack since T5.0. I saw his PSN on leaderboards and was wondering if he’s really back. He played all Tekkens for a first month or two and then dropped altogether, hope he sticks with the game if he has time and likes it enough. Keep up the good work!
