Trying to find the optimal combo after doing uf4,4 with Kat.
I have a 66 and 67 dmg variation, but I miss the last part of both variations about 50% of the time which leads to only 50-60 dmg. I feel like they are too dependent on the situation. Like I have to hit the opponents toes while falling to the ground for the last part. If they fall slightly to the left or right itās gonna miss.
My new combo for that is:
uf4, 4, ff+4, dash, 4,4,4, f4
Leads to 65 dmg, but I feel like I can hit it 95% of the time.
Yesterday I finally get to taste Lucky Chloe salt.
I have play agains her before, but mostly really bad player that you can beat them by just pressing buttons, but yesterday I saw darkness and got shitted by this Chloe lol.
I didnāt know how to punish her stuff but after that I went to practice and learn.
You guys think itās a good idea to record 5 unsafe strings for a character, put them on random intervals and just practice ducking/low parrying/parrying/side stepping/block punishing those for a while? Or do you think itās more effective to take that knowledge online and try to punish shit there right away?
Thatās what Iām doing right now, but Iām getting bored and am looking for someone that tells me that what Iām doing is shit, even though I know that itās probably a really good idea.
i guess it depends which level youre at
higher levels use less strings and alot more single moves/pokes
i would say learning max punish, recognizing throws, and reacting to hard hitting lows is more beneficial
Are you on PS4? Iāll be playing a lot tomorrow if you are.
Iād say Record is useful if you notice that you are getting bodied by one thing in particular. Then Record and replay the counter to that thing. Just be really specific because youāll recognise the move more easily. Imo, thatās the most optimal way to learn block defense. Legit I do it all the time. Katarina and Gigas are the biggest culprits since they have strings for days, but a lot of their strings have gaps you can exploit.
Iām on both but I canāt get fucked to carry my LAN cable over to the PS4, because pc is that much better.
Also Iām from the EU, so thatās that anyways unless you are too.
I got bodied by a Law earlier today, so I went to practice and recorded 1,2,2,1+2; 2,2,1+2; 2,b+2,1,2; junkyard and dragonās tail.
Now fuck the first 2 are basically the same and I get the 12f punisher every time, the 2,b+2,1,2 I can parry the gap quite frequently, but at least I block it every time, the junkyard I get to low parry sometimes and the fucking Dragonās Tail hits me every fucking time.
Like honestly, I blocked it twice in half an hour of practicing this shit.
I mean itās supposed to be slow, but I canāt fucking see it.
Anna and Lei not being in the cast yet is heresy. But Iām optimistic that the content releases will fix that.
Haha, actually did that with Paul for an hour.
I can see it helping, if youāre good with memorizing the animations. My results were; still ate all the lows. But got better results with some other moves. Have a feeling Iāll have to rely on reads, with blocking even the obvious āslowā lows for now, ugh. Reaction time of an elder snail.
took the time to learn lee
i can do wr2,4 tailspin 95% of the time now
definitely gonna try to main him since i love fullcrouch low and launch characters
