Dude, that’s a shit Katarina. Att the very least 444 22 gives you more wall carry and lets you go for oki. I’m pretty sure it deals more damage to. As with most characters, the mash one button combo is sub-optimal in every way.
I’m actually maining Bears now. Also, Katarina is unsafe as hell on pretty much everything. She is the epitome of high risk high reward. No decent launchers outside of CH, no good low pokes, linear as fuck offense.
I dont want to burst your bubble but you still have to unlock elizas and most likely the new dlc chars stuff via tb mode…at least for now. Maybe its a oversight and will change in future updates.
Whenever i read comments about certain strings in Tekken it says “hitconfirmable”, so i ofcourse try it out and it honestly feels impossible for me. I never played Ken in SFV but i tried hitconfirming his TC’s and i could do it, so i like to believe my reactions are atleast average or decent.
Nina u/f+2,1 for instance. I won’t be hitconfirming that in my life, ever.
I also won’t be playing in a way i would even focus on that regardless though so i’m not bothered by it, i just look for more contextual clues like whiff punishment, if they are crouching, startup of the opponent their move.
Yeah there are strings with much larger windows than the example i gave ofcourse, but it almost seems any string which you can slightly delay is labeled as “hitconfirmable” lol.
It just threw me off.
I can launch his d2 with Kazuya, which is the equivalent of making him suck a dick. =>
Drag is strong and easy to play. He’s no SFV Rog though, because you can react and punish his stuff. I honestly think Drag is the character I have the highest winrate against online.
This game has basically given me absolutely no desire to even touch SFV again.
I’ve played 40+ online matches at this point with near negligible waiting times and not ONE SINGLE laggy match. I don’t even care that I’m a complete beginner and mostly getting my ass crushed, I’m having more fun with it than I ever did in V.
Matches like this , where you feel in full control of your character is why I play my main, even though he’s not consistent for me. I had to record it.
Granted my opponent probably was beginner but I usually don’t get this type of flow .
I just destroyed a button mashing Eddy.
Dude was doing nothing but whiffing buttons into relax stance, doing unsafe lows and mashing random shit in neutral.
Lost a couple, then turned it around and made him feel helpless.
Thank god I have a button that hits Eddy during relax stance and can combo on counterhit, and that I learned to WS+2 punish.
Shit felt so good that I went to Steam forums right after in the hopes of finding a Paul rage thread.
