Planning on playing on PC tonight, give me a poke if anyone want some games.
Europe, by the way.
Extra notes: the large pushback makes it an excellent move for whiff coaxing, and there are slight differences between the different Mishimas. Kazuya can do his 1 frame faster than the others because his crouchdash can be done with a different input, making his the fastest standing launcher in the game at i13, while Jin gets a tailspin launch rather than a “true” launch (in previous games he only got a knockdown unless it was a CH iirc). Their range is huge, and can be extended in various ways, making them really useful as whiff punishers. It’s also really fucking satisfying to hit someone with an electric, which is why I’m currently trying to learn Kazuya.
Overall EWGF is probably the best move in the game.
Well on my PS4 (Pro), have been trying for a half hour to try an online match (both ranked and unranked), with 4 or above and 5 bars only setting, and can’t get one game going online. Same The connection to opponent have been lost on every opponent. I’m trying to wait till it counts down low to see if maybe rushing the accept is doing something, but can’t figure out how to get one game going.
Does anyone here play Dragunov? I’m trying to see if this is a true combo.
Launch, f+443, b+43, fff+2, d+3+4
I know fff+1+2 version works but when I do fff+2 instead the opponent seems to be able to recover during the startup of d+3+4 but they get hit before they can actually block.
I hated her when she was revealed but for me she becomes a lot more bearable when you remove those fur arms. She has some cool moves. I havent had the chance to try her out yet but im looking at her as my potential capo troll.
It makes me question all of the praise I see around here. I mean the game is fantastic when you get to play it. However I am not able to play it lol.
I tried tournament mode multiple times and the tournament never ends unless the host wins cause other wise they drop and the room get disbanded. I tried playing ranked cuz I am still at 7th Kyu and am tired of fighting scrubs but I just can’t get a match to start.
Like today I played SF5 and T7. I had about maybe 9 matches in two and a half hours of Tekken while I got like 30+ matches of SF5 between casual and lounge in the same time frame. I can get 50 or more in Injustice in that time.
Hope Namco can get their act together and fix this quickly but with people not being nearly as critical and fair about the issue as they should be, I worry that this will keep on for a while.
Hopefully by next weekend things will have stabilised for a bit.
On a side note : FUCK that cheap ass Akuma final boss. They spent 2 years developing how cheap they can make a boss be by the looks of it.
I thought movement in this game is the same for everyone. Same dash distances and walkspeeds.
Correct me if I’m wrong though, thought I’d picked that up reading something somewhere.
To some extent you are. Vanilla had universal and FR brought it back to unique per character.
As for anyone trying to learn Back dash canceling. As long as you aren’t using a sway character. Do Back back, neutral and then down to diagonal down back. Pretty much a Shoryuken-like motion with a neutral input in between.
You can do it really slow. For example, when you go to the diagonal down back. You can hold it for as long as you want. Then let go (neutral) and press back.
Speed isn’t that important.
I just turn of music and play my own music on PC, if i want to listen to older Tekken OST’s then i just slide the mp3 files in Winamp(bite me!)
Regarding KBD, i remember practicing that when TTT2 came out, P1 side was alright, P2 horrendous. I do it the way it doesn’t overlap with characters who have command backdashes.
I press b,b, hold back and slide it to d/b, then i just let go and press another b. When i go back to neutral the last back is given automatically. Don’t know if this makes sense.
I wanted to learn Nina and Steve back then but eventually dropped that idea as it was too much and went with Dragunov and Leo. Didn’t put in any real time with the game, though i had fun. Anyway i’m having my sights set on 4 characters, no clue who i’ll main:
Jin, Dragunov, Leo and Nina.
I probably shouldn’t bother with Nina at this point. I like straight forward characters and probably main either Jin or Dragunov.
I think i’m going to be in for the long haul with T7, i like the game.
