Well, depends on your definition of owned I guess. I thought JT did pretty well, but you could still see the difference in play levels.
But online or offline, Antonio, Bronson, Chet, and Naps were on a different level last night.

honestly a bunch of people might say that about jt, even bronson. I used to be able to beat jt, back when he first got into Tekken during 5.0. he was pretty overconfident, dude was telling me how jin was trash in T4 and Yoshi was too awesome. I even remember 1st day we got T5 in NorCal, my arcade was the first to get it. Jt happened to be there, and his reaction, and I quote “wow the graphics are a downgrade” then intel(a 360 finalist) said “you’re moms a downgrade”
dudes were looking at him all weird, but that changed once he started listening to other players and did less talking, and when he started going to svgl like every damn day. lol he got good quick
AFAIK, that’s not entirely accurate. I don’t know him personally, but from what I do know (or heard), he’s old school offline.
Mr.B I thought Antonio was just trash talking tbh. I didn’t think he was serious about what he said. Aside from maybe bloodred (no disrespect to him, but his game was weak last night), everybody did “good”.

Others may disagree, but to me, after seeing Naps’ and Chetty’s first match, I felt that Naps wouldn’t beat Chetty if they played again. After the first match of the finals, I was sure Chetty was going to win it.
yeah he might have been trash talking, but just saying he could have been serious and I would have to agree, with the naps chet thing, though after the second game I had hopes for naps. But chet was just shutting him down
Highlight I think was Aris trying to hit on the interview chick. His interview could’ve been labeled “Mick Foley’s first date” or something.
That, and his failed attempt at trying to give her surprise buttsecks. :lol:
Yeah, I have played him many times. But he qualified through GLL. I don’t know what else you mean by “online players” because none of the 4 are random online scrubs. Blood Red had a bad night but he’s an offline player too.

Not so much muscle memory though (although there was some of that too), but certain habits. Small stuff really, but if you play online a lot, some strats work quite well online, and it can become a habit. I just felt that the way their game flowed last night, some of the habits/strats came from online play.

I didn’t get to watch til the finals, but when I heard the voices I thought they sounded familiar. then they cut to the commentators and it was you and Q good job though man, you and Q did a great job IMO. and I love how you were repping the norcal jacket. haha
oh and how is the recording working for everyone? cuz during the GGL finals with jt and bloodred it freezes up. if I skip to later in tournament it works fine, but those matches are just frozen for me. I just wanted to see JT’s goofy smile when he won. Bloodred is dope though, and seems like a really humble dude from his interview after the 360 final.
Commentating was awesome, except for the overly awkward girl that gave post match interviews.
blood red was a really cool guy when i talked to him. “professional” to say the least.
thanks for the props. i self poisoned myself after the ggl shit by accidentally eating something with peanuts (is allergic), and was kinda woozy the whole tournament. but yeah… hahaha. stuck it out, and was just happy i didn’t yak on camera.
the ufragtv guys were really cool, but i kinda figured that people wouldn’t be too keen on them. but trust me, they are legit as fuck, and are trying to do things big-like. its one of thier first events like this; next one i would expect them to get even better.
oh man i missed it! did anyone on the forums attend or compete?

I figured the ufrag guys probably wouldn’t know too much about the game but they did good getting you and Q to commentate and I’m all for anything that helps promote the fighting scene in a positive way.
