I just realized… Since the stick is gonna be wireless, i’m gonna assume it’s Bluetooth based (please let it be, Hori T_T), and since it’s bluetooth based, we can use it on the PSP Go, so we can play T6 on the go with sticks. Fuck yes. :yawn:
Can PSP Gos use Sixaxis or Duelshock 3s?
That’s not been confirmed, Sony has only said that the Bluetooth functionality will include using headsets/speakers and tethering to a mobile phone - to piggyback an internet connection whenever wi-fi isn’t available.
I doubt it’ll happen.

I thought it was going to be wireless the hard way. Not Bluetooth, but a USB receiver that has to be plugged into the PS3’s USB port.

this too me makes more sense sadly… if im not mistaken all other 3rd party controllers for ps3 use a usb dongle.
There’s at least one out there that uses Bluetooth but I doubt a stick packaged in a big set like this will go the more complex route. I expect a dongle.

hori suck, esp their standard product like FS3 & EX2 which is like pain in the ass if you want to mod it, need drill etc… idiot.
didn’t like their HRAP too coz the design make the arm very in uncomfortable position (too near the below edge)

the small hori’s i think can be fun to mod (not the whole desoldering part though).
I found quite easy to mod my FS3, no problems at all, even in the desoldering stage…and with a bit of magic, sanwa or seimitsu buttons will fit in the pcb.
The hardest part imho were grinding the holes in the top plate.
I like the official stick shape, seems comfortable.
I don’t have a stick for PS3, should pre-order this?

I cancelled my T6 Limited Edition bundle when I went in today to get my copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum for PS3. I transferred the majority of the balance to help pay for Batman: AA but kept $5 towards the regular T6 edition.
Some things about this wireless stick just don’t sit right with me. Part of it is that inevitable feeling that, “Gee, this is another top to bottom mod job like the T5 stick” in which case I might as well get the T5 stick (again!) since it’s cheaper. The other feeling is that this is a one-system stick with the wireless. What other system are you going to use this with outside of doing a PCB swap?
I’m also not a huge Tekken fan even though I agree 3 and 5 were quality games. I’m more casual on this series; more hardcore on Street Fighter and to a lesser extent, Soul Calibur. (Why nothing special was offered for either Soul Calibur 2, 3, or 4 kind of mystifies me…)
The fact that the pictures appear to be showing something that looks like it’s Hori parts through and through didn’t help, either. Hori’s not completely bad – their PCB’s and bases are good --, but the regular non-Sanwa sticks and their soldered buttons (not the QD’s on the HRAPs) are just not good quality parts.
I want my next stick mod to be something higher quality, or a top to bottom new stick starting with a wooden cabinet.
This really just looks like Hori’s take on the FightStick SE.
Well, Im keeping my preorder. Its only $150, and if I dont like it guess what. FOR sale ad wont be hard to make, and people would purchase it. Also theres satifaction guaranteed, so returning it wont be hard to do either 
Until then, I wont mock it until I try it. Assuming things just gets you know where in life.

i owe about 25 left on both of mine (reminds me that i have to go put some more towards modern warfare 2 though…) and i plan on keeping both, especially if it’s like the se (ce).
I went ahead and pre-ordered this thing on Amazon with the 75% off code. If I don’t like it then eBay it goes, I’m sure it’ll sell (even making a few bucks after fees).
Hmm this is a lot of pages to go through to search for an answer so here it goes. Is the arcade stick an HRAP with all the Sanwa parts like the SFIV TE stick or some nonsense?
