Like many people, I’ve been waiting years for this release since I have no arcades near me (London is the only FG scene in the UK) and now it’s about 3 weeks to go, the anxiety is through the roof!!
Should hopefully get a chance to play it at the MCM Expo the weekend before but that’s still weeks away as well. Come on 30th!!
Created characters generally had smaller body builds than the actual characters, meaning that if I made a custom of Astaroth (the largest normal character with a huge hitbox), quite a few moves of his that are normally unsafe are now safe because of the much smaller hitbox.
Or if I wanted to make a custom of big busted Ivy, and I chose to instead make a flatchested girl with Ivy’s moveset, I could be suddenly ‘out of punishing range’ because I got no bewbs.
So in tekken 6, I’m just imagining ppl making customs of Kuma, Devil Jin, King, Armor King, etc. and suddenly having safer moves because of smaller hitboxes.
That was double-edged sword. Those same big characters would also have considerably less range and miss key combos and setups that they normally wouldn’t. Also, some smaller characters like Talim would moves or strings that whiff because of their added height.
Well, the game is right around the corner. I’m pretty sure when people get there hands on it and things get good, we’ll be seeing a lot of competition around.

well because you arent actually making a character it will be fine. Your just putting customs on. The customs and the charcater models are made to fit without having any of those "CREATE - a character " problems SC had.
