KoriShenlong in all seriousness Tekken 5 DRO is a very pathetic excuse for the true skill that this game can truly have. I really only go on to work on my other moves that are normal moves but I don’t want to become stale. Combos with Kazuya are hard to do because if you mess up with EWGF with this lag you don’t know what may happen.
And as you could see I’m willing to play online with anyone even Fagami although he may be “cheap”. But to defend Duskbringer, losing to someone who does something that is pretty cheap and they brag is annoying. But in real life you have the opportunity to learn their moves and patterns and block it and be prepared to punish them. Online it’s not the case because lag can make these cheap moves impossible unless you block the first hit which should be so punishing but the horrible connection makes it superior.
I think it’s an accepted fact that online is not a good showcase of skill. It’s also really frustrating when the lag is your main downfall while you watch someone rock your face that you could normally destroy. It just isn’t something to take so seriously. It should be fun, it should help you meet people that maybe you’ll end up playing later on down the line, and maybe gasp be entertaining and fun.
With that said, I don’t understand why he’s being defended when he’s taking this far too seriously and with the same stale old insults. He’s been a poor sport this whole time over a game setup that doesn’t supposedly matter. He’s not the kind of player I would want to encounter because if/when I juggle him into a wall or try to sweep or do anything that might just beat him, he’ll get his feelings hurt and then cry foul like some little kid for a month.
I’d rather play with Frank who would probably be like “Ha whatever.” and then life goes on.
I personally view online as a"practice arena", taking it serioulsy is just a mistake.Although I will admit that there r 2 certain types of peeps who really get to me when it comes to online…that being the"elite type" and the"dickrider type". The elite are the type whom are rank whores, they collect a large number of wins and as a result feel entittled to endless praise about there skills and talent when in reality there nothing more then talented lag abusers.
The second peeps r the dickriders whom r scrubs in themselves and as a result r stupid enough to buy into the"elites"hype. These two types of peeps single handily ruin every online forum u can find.

Im not gonna lie I feel your pain. But the sad thing is this game has turned to the way many sports games are online. Lag and nonsense. I don’t care what anyone says if you lose to someone worse than you it’s like losing to your friends who are worse than you buy pick Eddie/Christie or Law, or Baek or King and spam something that is stupid and could beat you at first. And when you want your rematch because you are aware of what they are doing they don’t want to go against you.
Online is so stupid sometimes that I had to take a break and now just accept it for what it is. And it still is aggravating. Although I treat it like practice, something like lag hunters will ruin anyones experience. But Torn we’ve had some really good matches and anyone who isn’t a lag whore and whats to have fun and actually keep a routine for your moves instead of staying stale when no one is around, my PSN is there and send me an invite and I’m down.
i’m always letting it go and brushing it off, but when the scrub takes videos of it and brags? like wtf wouldn’t that make you want to kick his has? it’s overly annoying.
