I’m having issues blocking sweeps in general (especially Kaz and Lili). Normally it’s risking enough to low parry but online it’s almost impossiple with random lag picking up.

Yes, everyone can be equally annoying with lag. Just learn what you can do to counter it OFFLINE, and hope for the best online.
Mind you … most of those sweeping lows are unsafe, I dont even bother trying to parry. I just block low and punish.

Anyway on comments about ziggyfeild. He is considered the best TTT player in canada and considered very good at DR placed top 10 at clash 07 and 06 on DR taken out strideryoshimitsu in multiple tournaments and he vouches for his skill.

Alright I just want to comment on this whole Dean vs Cable situation (I was reading the whole story from a couple pages ago). Now I havn’t played Cable so i don’t know were his skill lies, but I have played dean and I can honestly say the guy is a good player. A couple months ago Dean was being hyped in the WCC tourny as being a great DR player, he won the tourny but my friend Justin (known as Blizzard on here) said to me"he isnt that good, me and u could take him". When I played agaisnt him online I wasn’t expecting much as a result, but when we fought online the guy obviously knows what he is doing and regardless of the lag I could tell he’s a good fighter.
Now I guess my point here is that regardless of were ur skill lies there is no reason to get into so much drama online. Good players don’t always win online because there r so many random BS factors that in reality the only players that win consistently r the ones who abuse lag the most effectivly. When T6 comes out along with SC4 i hope the netcode is good…otherwise it’s just gonna be another scrubfest with lag absuing whores.

Yeah that’s pretty my reasoning behind it to, online DR should not be treated like offline matches. Lag is factored into the match no matter what, so the only way to beat a lag abuser is to"lag absuse"as well. It’s really a different game online, just like 3s is from offline matches as well. In my case, I tried playing “Fair” online but all it got me was “0-10"so i starting to"play to win” and all the sudden it changed. I still think online is fun and I use to practice more then anything, hopfully future fighters will have a better netcode.
If you were good, you wouldn’t have been doing what you did with Kaz. That shit was scrubby, online or offline, and that’s just a fact. Shit, don’t talk about Ziggy either. Also, it’s always better to block sweeps like db+4 from Baek. It’s a free launcher from any character. You get less off a low parry.

As soon as I tried to do something, it took about 1-2 seconds for the input to catch up. By the time, I was already getting hit by another hellsweep. Judging from a neutral party, I do recall Cable being the one that brought this whole thing up. And to me personally, I could complain about a lot of players ESPECIALLY from CANADA.
When I used to play xbl sf hf online, if they were from the uk, I’d automatically drop the game because it was just not worth it. too laggy, and I did not meet one good person.
Same goes for DR and Canada. Then again, it’s online so I don’t really care. You guys should just not play each other.
I reseted my record and no one wants to play me because my rank is low, they always boot me. The ones that do decide to play me get severely piss when I rape them even though they are like warrior or above.

our edmonton tekken scene died in the T4-T5 days. it just recently picked up a little less than a year ago. give us some time and we’ll have some known players.
