They made the turtles smaller. They were giants in the first one. Now Amell is taller than Mikey. I liked them as giants.
one of the biggest complaints people had was for how big they were. they changed the colors, sizing and a few other technical things

How the hell were those mammoths sneaking around New York? Ninjustu or not, there’s only so much suspension of disbelief that can be expected, even for the TMNT.
I mean, theyre still huge. Amell is 6’1, and the rest of the turtles still stand a few inches over him. If theyre not like 5’2 ninja turtles, the already nonsensical fiction, wont ever make sense.
Agree, it was a nice change. Maybe they did it for logistical reasons. To not have actors constantly looking up at like a 7 foot creature. lol. If michael bay ever gave a shit about what people say, he wouldnt make the movies he does. lol
New trailer was interesting.
Not sure how to feel about l the purple mutagen sub-plot. I mean I know they’ve all struggled with their own identity; especially Raph which in the trailer you can see they play off of. I’m still not sure though.
I think the purple mutagen plot is dumb. The Turtles don’t have an ounce of human in them.

The turtles are too jacked, they’re too “brodude-ish” and the plot doesn’t even follow the real TMMT canon.
Lol its the friggin alien mutagen. Its just a subplot that overall we know won’t affect them in the long run. Its one of those lessons for kids about accepting who they are.
