And clearly he was in danger when someone with a gun pursued him thinking he was doing something bad and wanted to confront him. He got shot he was clearly in a dangerous fucking situation…

The bolded is right, obviously right, BUT misleading…This would be a rock solid argument if George Zimmerman had his gun drawn while pursuing Trayvon making the danger very clear. Take all the self-defense measure you can in that situation, but is there any evidence this had been the case, that Trayvon was aware Zimmerman had a weapon? I don’t think there is

Martin may not have been hit, but are we ruling out the possibility that he wasn’t pushed, shoved or brushed up against by Zimm? None of the eye witnesses saw the actual start of the physical confrontation either. Only that X was on top of Y, which doesn’t necessarily indicate who initiated the beating.

We ARE ruling out that possibility since there is no proof that happened. For the hundred millionth time in this thread, conjecture can not be used to prosecute people.

okay so does that mean that since someone who wasn’t in a position of authority asked for your ID. It’s allowed for a fight to break out ? Zimmerman doesn’t have the right to ask for the kids ID. However, that in turn doesn’t mean that a fight needs to break out.

The gun being concealed makes it more dangerous because TM didn’t know fully how serious the situation was if that was the case. I don’t understand where people think that someone having their gun hidden isn’t as dangerous as them running after you with it. For arguments sake lets say he did have it concealed, does this lessen the ability to take the gun out and use it thus making it a very dangerous situation? Of course not

RIP Trayvon. Even if I was getting my ass kicked, and about to die I would never shoot anyone. And Zimmerman should be punished with jail time, because there is no way to justify his act no matter what may have happened.

That being said, I don’t like the race card. Seriously, I am white, and grew up in a mostly black neighborhood. I got picked on, made fun of, never fit in, blah blah blah. I see just as many black people being racist as most of you see white people being racist. All the time.

I like rap music because literally every person I know likes rap music. Why do I get shit for it, and weird looks all the time? Why do I get called whitey, and its ok if everyone laughs? If I called someone blacky I would probably get jumped. Twice.

And all day I hear how the white man gets paid off everything, and how the white man has advantages the blacks don’t. I don’t think that is true at all. In school black kids are always on the phone, and yelling. But if I get on my phone, or talk slightly above a inside voice I get kirked out on. No one says anything to them for the same things. I just don’t understand…

And seriously I hope no one thinks I am being racist. 90% of my friends are black including my best friend. I just really don’t understand.

I can’t understand how people want ignore the reality of how minorities are treated by the law. It’s become so ingrained in law enforcement; even black cops are more suspicious of black people. Ivy League professors get spooked when they are approached by cops; anyone who hasn’t felt that fear shouldn’t really talk about the race card (in relation to law enforcement) lol. That joke about black people being stunned when white people argue with cops…, that isn’t a joke.

You’ve nailed it down, I agree with everything you said and that allows me to make my point a little more clear:

Police bias is what is relevant because it goes along solving this case, however the motivations behind said bias, that could be racism, from what most of us are assuming or, as you mentioned, the fact that Zimmerman’s father is a magistrate, is what I find irrelevant for now.

Justice should be blind regardless what causes that bias but shoulda coulda woulda… let’s see what comes out from this trial
