I think it’s disgusting people are comparing different tragedies that have happened recently but aren’t getting as much coverage as the Martin case as too say that it is somehow over exaggerated or something. Theres ALOT of horrible things that happen everyday that you don’t and will never hear about. Some make the headlines, some get a small section and some don’t. Doesn’t mean that one doesn’t matter but the media is a business and unfortunately prioritizes stories by marketability and what will get more viewers. Alot of crazy shit happens in Detroit EVERYDAY that doesn’t get anywhere near national nightly news. Kids are getting killed on almost a regular basis and nobody pays attention. And by kids I mean a few months to just a few years.

IMO if Zimmerman was black this story wouldn’t have been as big a story because black on black crime is accepted in this country. But seeing how this country has a huge race problem the fact that race played a role in what happened brings it to the front.

I’m not spewing the same old we need to get along shit you always here but people seriously need to stop being so ignorant about how much race plays into everything. Anybody with some sense knows that race had a factor in this case, you can be a bigot/racist and be cordial with minorities, being black and wearing certain clothes isn’t the same as other people wearing those same clothes

In florida yes legally,kid did not know where he was…if someone steps to you in a way you feel threatened , you can legally blow them away, its always been like that and they just come scrap up the corpse , my homie Jamaican/white explained it a long time ago long before this case, now living up in nor cal and comes to visit me in hawaii couple times a year.

Yeah, something just doesn’t sit well with Zimm’s story and why the gf’s testimony gets left out of many of the headlines describing Zimm’s side. Even without her story though, the fact that Zimm lost Martin while following him means a couple of things. Zimm doesn’t seem to mention if the person he is following is walking or running, which is important since he seemed to have lost him. Did Martin hop a fence or was he running and Zimm couldn’t keep up.

This seems to suggest either way that Zimm wasn’t following Martin he was stalking him. If he was following him casually, he wouldn’t have lost him. He didn’t just lose him on accident. Martin was put on alert for some reason, otherwise why would you care about someone walking behind you.

I refuse to believe that an armed man who isn’t in close enough proximity to someone else for that other person to be in view of an observer would be screaming for help for 30 seconds.

But something else doesnt add up. Look at what Zimmerman was wearing on the night of the shooting. His clothes were bright colored and in the city there should be a street light or something nearby. I think the boy was pressed by his mother not to give much details. Smart move, you cant harass a minor for information.
