There’s lots of 3rd Strike love among the Unblockables in Denton. Dark Geese can whoop ass in just about any game that features one human-like being physically harming some other human-like being. All the Unblockables can give you a run for your money in 3rd Strike. Dark Geese and E-bortion play KOF regularly. When they’re in town Hokuto Shingo and Dirk_Kiicker play SF/KOF.
We also play lots of random games for shits and giggles. I myself will me MIA until December, but everybody there is cool as hell.
And there’s no harm in getting Double Impact. It’s good at least for collector’s value, and it’s interesting to see the changes from 3s.
There’s a pretty shitty arcade in the Golden Triangle mall, and there’s a thread somewhere that already discusses the crappiness of the arcades in Denton.

Oldboy, I’m brushing up my 3s right now, but the main played at DG’s is XI. However, Fasty (David) is about to have some 3s held weekly, so definitely get in on that. Gamings still not picked up entirely here, but we are building up again. You should drop by Lukus’s on Friday and Monday evening. I’ll definitely be there.

XI has a tag format similar to 03 but isnt the same game at all. XI isn’t really comparable to any other KOF. As far as Samurai Showdown… Yeah, we play it. Lukus rapes at it. We play Tenka import.
