In MvC2, there are moves (that require 1 super bar) called Snapbacks; you use these moves (preferrably in a simple combo like d.short x2, Snapback) to knock the opposing character out, and force another character in (like an important assist like CapCom, Cyclops, or Psylocke). In theory, you can diffuse a team more easily by killing these assists.
In KOF XI, there isn’t such a thing…the threat comes from a powerful character with a godly LDM (think: Kula, Oswald…some others come to mind like Duo Lon)
…So if someone is sandbagging, and has the Leader come in last with +2 stocks…it creates lots of dangerous situations…such as Kula’s LDM or Oswald’s LDM.
With my suggestion of snapbacks, you get the opportunity to kill the Leader quicker by knocking him/her in BEFORE there’s +2 stocks available to abuse.
