Houston or North Carolina is the debate-Okay guys with the North Carolina tourney sooo close I am starting to weigh out the pros and cons of going to Houston vs. North Carolina so I am going to need you guys help…North Carolina tourney seems to be a better option than the Houston Showdown Championships tourney at this time.
So I am trying to debate- Houston (apr 29th) or North Carolina (may 5th)??
Showdown just doesnt have too much to offer with us having to pay our own hotel and then on otp of that nobody coming. As much as its good to play people like OJ in KOFXI and shit I dont wanna go that far just to play you guys in everything SNK…we can do that at the crib to be honest…and thats what I’ve been thinking about…

True, but at the same time no one is gonna be at Showdown, and I’ve proposed this in practically in the Eye of the Ragin Storm thread, the NC tourney thread and other things because yeah I’d ike to do all that, but its gonna be Denton Showdown 7.8, which is what I am still getting from the signup lists etc. So I got everyone giving me their advice and Pros and Cons for Showdown vs. NC tourney.
Just having the Saturn Pad makes me ready to throwdown with the Triad and everyone again.

Last showdown, i bet u mostly played Tenka, NGBC, and maybe 2k2. im sure u didnt get chance to play alot of XI w/ diff peeps…their just might be some new heads besides the japs. w/ skillz. Not to mention Fubar, 2d and whoever else is good in Tenka. Plus, the japs might end up show’n us some crazy shit…since they’re gods in almost every game made. Only comp u r gonna miss out on is NGBC, which brings me to my next point…

Seems your main focus is NGBC…so going to the N.C. would be higher in priority.
Plus, you said they’re hella good in XI & other games, so thats even more a reason to go. Like Tony said, it’ll be more expensive, yet the comp might be worth it. Plus im sure see’n the triads terf & chillin w/ them would be cool for you…
