I’m graduating from school this semester and moving back home to Torrance area. It seems like the only places for Marvel comp are at Family Fun/Xscape at UCLA. But those are like 30 min. drive. argh.
Is there anywhere to play that’s closer? It seems like 8ball is the place, but the damage seems high? What about Mulligan’s, Camelot, Aladdin’s Castle? (I only play Marvel btw)
8 ball is probably the last place around here. otherwise it would be other people’s houses.wonder if were gonna have practices again? it would be pretty fun to do that again.

yea so I’m sure most of you know already but we’ve taken team torrance and mixed it up manhattan beach style and instead of family fun arcade, it’s family fun tamers!! so if you wanna get beasted on in some marvel/naruto/guilty gear/soul caliber 3 and soon 4 and wanna smoke a fat ass blunt then come stop by.

I live in the South part of Torrance.
I got my marvel cabinet and my third strike cabinet for about a grand each. I bought the cab and the game separately. Around six for the cabinet and three for the game. I also got a Japanese version of Third Strike with a Japanese Cabinet.
By the way I’m only a third player and not a marvel. I suck at Marvel. I just like collecting Capcom fighting games.
But if there are hardcore third strike players out there in the area I’m thinking of holding a gathering every Thursday night maybe. Marvel VS Capcom 2 players are invited but I just don’t want people just playing Marvel and no one is playing Third Strike. The games are set on freeplay. I’m not sure yet I’m still thinking about it.
