in my experience it varies wildly. I’ve bought medium sizes that turned out to be tents, and others that have been skin tight
A sizing chart is available here:
It only has the chest measurement, but that should be good enough. I’ll also post how I think it fits when I recieve the blank I ordered in the mail.
(Also, I am not ordering from this sketchy site lol)
If people have an issue with the blue, we can maybe change colors to something more neutral, like a black on grey, but those who reserved did so under the assumption that we were going to use blue.
I really like that design! I think this particular one is too complex to embroider though. Maybe for the tees?
The shirts themselves I believe are not made in the USA (I can tell you for sure when I recieve the blank I ordered), but they are being embroidered in the US.
Like me.
Yes, for now I think we will stick with blue, but if we get like 20 people who hate the blue, then it would make sense to switch. (or we could just do a round 2 order of polos with black thread on grey shirt)
Well I am still interested for sure, and I gladly help out a fellow srkér when selling things to the community.
Did you already order all shirts in blue (looks like you only ordered one but want to be sure) or can we have a poll on this maybe?
I like blue and still want one but I would prefer maybe white or gray, black is a little dull for me, but that´s me.
I only ordered one blank, non embroidered blue shirt, but if we change colors, then every shirt will have to be that new color combination.
Put me down for a 1XL shirt
I am wearing a Carolina blue polo today that has a navy embroidery on it. If white thread is too faint then try navy. It looks good.
Ok, I will do that! When i get the blue blank polo in the mail, I’ll take a picture of it with a white sheet of paper cut like the logo to try to see if the contrast is good enough. Otherwise, I will use Navy.
I’ve updated the first post with more shipping options.
These shipping options are cheaper, but they don’t come with tracking, so you’d have to take it on my word that I shipped something.
I would much rather prefer to use priority mail, but if someone wants the cheaper option (especially internationally, i’m trying to lower costs), then they can choose to get it.
I really don’t care what color the first batch is, but I’d like to see a black or brown polo in the next batch. A red on black would look nice or green (fav color) on black.
While I have no beef with light blue it sounds like you might want to do a poll. People seem to be pretty outspoken.
You should be able to get delivery confirmation on anything from the USPS. No clue about international orders. First class may be cheaper than priority.
Count me in for a large!
Green on black would be awesome, +1 for this.
I can do certified mail with first class shipping (so I get proof of shipment) but not delivery confirm. The certified mail costs an extra 1.35, so it’d be better just to use priority in that case.
I added a poll with all of the color options mentioned. You can vote for as many or as few color combinations as you want.
also, my blank shirts should be coming today, so we should get a good idea of shrinking and sizing.
Yeah it is suitable for silk screen. At that is a work in progress, I was going to study some pcbs to get the look right and make some things look like surface mount resistors. Be sure to let me know if tees are about to go down. I only executed 1/3 of what I originally wanted with that design and have some other things to add to it.
I noticed that you put up colors.
I am down for 1 2XL shirt if it is in White on Carolina Blue, or Black and Grey, otherwise don’t want a shirt. Black polos tend to fade nasty and have too much black in my wardrobe. I don’t like the other color options.
I am personally pulling for white on Carolina blue, and in the case of a tiebreak, that is what I will go with
Black polos do tend to fade quite quickly, which is why I wanted to do White on Blue or Black on grey for the first round.
Hey everyone,
My blanks came today!! The 50/50 blend jersey polos were all very thin and the fabric wasnt very soft.
On the other hand, the pique cotton polos were nice. I liked the Jerzees one the best. I believe it is made in El Salvador. It is also not the softest of fabrics, but its pique, so thats expected. The fabric is also not as thin as the others, but it is also not as thick as say a Ralph Lauren Polo or Express polo (the ones i like to wear).
Overall, I think the Jerzees polos are a good choice!
The one thing about the polos is that they seem kind of big. I have put it in the dryer now on hot to shrink it, and I will post back with results.
EDIT: Washing/Drying in progress haha
i’m down for a medium but i would prefer anything but white on blue… every time i wear my blue polo and go into best buy, i get asked questions LOL
