What is the current status of TOSF:HQ? It seems with MvC3 coming out, JS Master apparently retiring from SF 
and AE at LoveGety, there hasn’t been much interest in this thread. Besides White_R money matching SwissBeats after he studies for his exams. It seem’s like nobody has signed up since last friday,which is now a week today. Just wondering if you guy’s are taking a break for a while, or whatever the situation is. I hope you guy’s keep up the good work, I always had fun coming by!
HQ will still be open.
The main issue we are trying to deal with is the weather. Thanks to Paul187, we have installed a curtain (90% complete :wgrin:) that will deal with the major heat loss when the door is opened. We also have free slippers for all players now too.
Gety having AE isn’t as bad as originally thought. Most of the players Ive seen there don’t frequent hq as much/are older players that drive. Fridays/Sat might have an impact on attendance. Also, some players make trips to HQ > gety and vice versa.
Since MVC3 is console bound there shouldn’t be a problem since we were planning on purchasing it for HQ as well. I’m sure the offline experience where people can give each other input would benefit more than solely playing online.
As for JS, he is still one of the owners of HQ. Retiring only means hes done with tournaments. He will still be hitting up HQ and playing casuals while providing feedback as usual. Don’t forget about Ehai as well! He is extremely hungry now that school is easing up.
Just a little recap on what HQ has at the moment:

2 19" CRT TV
*(Some players have said the 50" screen is giving problems so once I find a suitable home for it, it will be replaced with another monitor).
Games: SSFIV and MVC2 of course. We also have a PS2 there with the old big name games (3S, A3, GG, CVS2, ST etc…)
Last thing to note:
We are down on sticks due to maintenance so if you have a stick please do not hesitate to bring one for your session.

As I remember Sundays is closed for private sessions unless 5 or more people sign up. I’d like to sign up for Sunday, since it is my only day off, just incase other people decide to show up as well.

No worries, it’s not like JS is gone or something or he’s moving to Edmonton.
JS will still be a big presence in the Toronto street fighter scene.
Besides, there are a lot of solid up and coming hungry fighters ready to step up and fill his shoes.
