Well, the 360 room was officially open to exclusive Sakura mirror matches from 8:05 PM to literally 12:30 in the morning… Insane amounts of matches guys, and I can safely say that I’m literally exhausted from playing/watching them all (with Sakura’s theme playing on my end the ENTIRE time…). Too many skirts flying around… Hope everyone who participated got some learning experience from it, and I can’t wait for the next time we crank this thing up again. :wgrin:
Yeah that 360 room was awesome. I think next time we should switch up and use someone other than Sak every now and again. Next time we do this, I’ll have a mic and I’ll be there until the end. I definitely learned alot, and it was good to play with everyone else on this board. Were you able to capture any of the matches, D? If not, it’s cool. Maybe next time.
I’d be willing to let my pitiful Makoto get mauled occasionally for the sake of variety.

Well, I got almost all of the matches due to the saving feature from the game itself so I can record later. It’ll be quite a while if I’m to upload ALL of those matches (it was like over 60 of them…) so don’t expect any miracles just yet.

First of all. I don’t want to be a part of this if its just Sakura mirrors all evening. I thought we would follow my idea to get Sakura players on ONE team and play against random people who will make up the other team.
Also, I’m in England so my evening is America’s afternoon. I can’t be up till 3am on a Thursday waiting for you guys. I needed ShogunFlow to add the other PSN Sakura’s and get them in the chat room. I only saw ChaosLimits come in the chat and he left in under 1 minute without saying a word.

my XBL gamertag is samcar455 and im in the westcoast. also i don’t have as much time as I wish I did to practice but I’ll try to have some sort of constant frequency.
so there I was, subbing/helping a middle school ISS class all day, and the only thing I could hear was SAKURA THEME OMG. XD
If it comes to it, I won’t get bent if you sacrifice my vids. I got em saved on my 360, and I know what i was working on/trying so i can study my own stuff.

@ Mr. Flowers thats why we need you to maybe help organize a time for the Euros to play at a certain time. I already knew from the start that we wouldn’t ALL able to play at the same time due to geographical reasons. This is just a start. This Thursday Night Sakura thing may turn into something different as everyones schedules change.
@ all If nothing else, it will be a more elaborate version of a matchmaking device for us Sakura players to get used to playing each other online every now and then, give pointers along the way, and collectively help each other improve. Sharing information on a message board is cool, but gametime experience against each other helps in a positive way as well. That way it helps us give pointers online because we kinda know each others playstyle, and how much we already know with Sakura, rather than assuming that someone always know what you’re talking about on SRK.
EDIT: and we dont have to play Sakura the whole time. It definitely gets old. But what if you challenged a fellow Sakura player to a first to 10 set if you feel like that Sakura player can help you.
