Yes its 8 players max for all the modes. We’ll have people doing different things. If its really popular tomorrow we might need to open up a back up PSN Text Chat for another 16. I doubt 32 people will be on all at once though anyway.
No way are we ever doing 8 man Endless while I’m hosting… thats just way too long. I prefer 8 man tournament mode or 8 man Team Battle. I’ll do 4 man Endless max if its up to 5 rounds. 5 man Endless if its max 3 rounds.

Tomiwa11 - Sick 8k Sakura. Knows match ups well. Great Ryu player aswell
PunkJewd - Sick Ken player. Only seen him fight twice so far in team battle with sak.
Matt0rz - Probably rivals my skill level. We’ve had some close mirrors. Good Dan player too.
Kazurk7 - The legend. 1 month rusty but still the only grade ‘A’ Sakura in Europe. Top 5 worldwide. He’s been entertaining us with his crazy combos
Everyone else thats online hasn’t joined us yet. So far its been mostly Europe playing. I’ll try to be on till about midnight at least my time. Should be late afternoon USA time by then.
I won’t be playing PS3 nearly as often and I’m about to renew my subscription on XBL. In 2 weeks we’ll get the Team Sakura popping on Thursday nights again.

GGs to everyone, I was Blonde-Bachi, the Cammy/Sak/Juri player. But my true main is C.Viper, who I don’t use a lot anymore, because online is terrible, so I’m incredibly rusty with her lol.
It was a lot of fun, um, sorry I kept screwing up the “bow” LOL. But, I felt I’d done my service to the Sak players by OCVing those random guys with the really dumb Akuma player on their team.
I’ve got some way to go with Sakura, hopefully I can keep improving and get stronger with Cammy, Sakura, Juri and Viper. Next time, I’ll be using Viper too, so hopefully I can get her prepared for next Saturday.
BTW, some tips against Cammy.
I’d maybe start teching with cr.hp to help stop delayed/high Strikes but keep in mind Cammy has a lot of ways to defeat crouch teching. Defence is key against her, it must be on point, down back does not stop Cammy that badly, unless it’s from certain chars haha. Wouldn’t use much FA when Cammy is on the ground either, Cammy can buffer Spiral Arrow into her cr.mk to beat that out.
Cammy has a tech trap with Hooligan, where if you quick rise and try to crouch, Hooligan will still catch you because the quick rise leaves you in a few frames of standing animation before you crouch. So don’t quick rise too much. Not quick rising also has the extra benefit of interfering with her wake-up mix-up timings.
I too enjoyed today despite the lag and me not winning at all (I think) If I did win any fights it was clearly non eventful cos I don’t remember it haha.
But yea, I don’t mind getting my arse handed to me by better players and if anyone’s about tomorrow I shall definitely be online for some hopefully lagless games.
I might actually win something too! You never know… (I won’t get my hopes up though lol)
Lag was bad lol, if you’d stuck around, I was up against some Canadian and American players, that wasn’t good haha, connection was not helping at all. Failed big time with Juri as well but that’s another story. I’m up for games tomorrow too.
I’m here at work till 6am so I’ll be on a bit later, but yea. It’s my own shitty wireless doesn’t help. It can be fine for hours then it suddenly fucks up. Been harassing my landlord to change providers but he won’t… dick. But yea, getting my own separate line put in that won’t be shared with 2 other people and will be plugged straight in so as of October my lag problems will hopefully be resolved.
It’s hard to get any better or even try and gauge my own skill level when a good 60-70% of my fights lately have been horrendously laggy… Pisses me off, but the last few games on Ranked before I went to work were lag free so hopefully my luck will last til tomorrow.
Your connection was decent I think(I’m wired btw) though. And yeah, I know the feeling about lag, it is proper jarring. Which is why I’ve all but stopped using Viper online now.
Yea at times it wasn’t bad, I think when I played you I was about as laggy as everyone else in the lobby… I just get really pissed off by lag, perhaps more than most lol. It’s just the random hour or 2 I have most days lately when I can’t get anything better than a slideshow. It’s getting worse and I’m fed up of harassing BT and my landlord about it so I’m just gonna get my own line put in and pay the extra. I never had these problems at my last addresses/with my previous Internet Provider’s and it’s been constant headaches since I moved into my current place a year ago…Meh
