Sorry man, I know the feeling. I’m on my 3rd xbox 360… RroD sucks… this guy at best buy told me you should spray compressed air in it every 3 months & it will help prevent that…

i might look into that, i guess their sending me a “brand new” system so hopfully it was made recently and will last at least as long as my first one.

Do you mean the sticky or this thread? I agree, I don’t think the sticky is necessary, but I did find this thread helful. It wasn’t necessary either, but It worked for me efficiently & hopefully for someone else too. I got to meet a few new people in town & now there’s some type of directory for someone new to reference & to get an idea of who the locals players are without having to dig through threads, advertise who they are through tons of posts or make alot of searches to find out. I know what you mean though, don’t get me wrong.

There are many players who have a myspace/facebook but don’t frequent SRK, we need to get to those players as well. Maybe I’ll start a group of some sorts.

That sounds like a good idea. if you know that it would help people then lets do it. If you want I can set up a group & link them together to http://forums.shoryuken.com/group.php?groupid=185 what do you think? I do search engine optimization & marketing for a living for DEX & Google so it would be easy for me to optimize one of those pages to work well on search engines. I could give you the login info and maybe we could get some youtube videos of the local games on there…

You really love that 3S stuff, don’t you? We’ll have to play it again. I gotta find the setting for adjusting the controls to work with the EX2, though.

Anyone else getting in on that… uhm… free-entry online tournament thingem this Saturday afternoon that was mentioned somewhere in the Xbox Live section of the forum?

Online tournament is just HDR. Figure I’ll be playing HDR, anyway… why not try and make $50 while I’m at it?

I’m good for the 3S and HDR this weekend. I’d like to get a little GG#R in at some point. Gotta find some VF5 people to play with, too.

I love fighting games.

I can’t wait for SFIV, either. Need it. Now.
