Nothing wrong with Ken… he’s fantastic… still my favorite, but I was doing myself a disservice by playing Ken and only Ken all the time. Diversifying my skillset is a good thing. That’s all I was getting at.

yeah i was planing on it, hopfully ill have extra money to enter when the date rolls around. RayBladeX is running SF4 and Hd Remix on Ps3, so hopfully someone there will have a 360 to PS3 converter or let me use their stick for my matchs.

yeah same here. but hey worst case scenario no coverters and people not lending out sticks for a few matchs, we could still hit up the 3s or A3 part of the trouney.
The ps3 version was chosen because most Portland players own a PS3 and not 360s. In Seattle, it seems to be reverse.
Most players also have a PS2 stick w/convertors so this is also part in selecting the PS3 versions for both games.
I plan on having at least 3 PS3 setups for this event so we could wrap everything up in time (5pm).

Thanks man, that’s a good idea. Maybe when I get a little more time in the summer. With my work schedule & my wife, I barely have enough time now to get games in. That would be pretty fun to do a Seattle vs Portland tourney & have a BBQ during the summer. I’d have to find a place & find out what equipment we’ll need but it’s possible. .There are a few people here that have experience throwing tourneys that could probably help out. I’ll keep that in mind bro, thanks…
Np. yeah portland vs seattle would probly be some crazy shit im sure itd be alot of fun. and yeah i dunno how your schedule looks but you could always start out small you know? that way it wouldent even really cost anything, the players could bring some consoles or games w/e, i know id be down to help out. but like you said with work and a family it can be hard to commit to runing tournaments, i was just throwin the idea out there. And honestly this thread is a good enough start, like you said there are some people in OR who have experience throwin tournies so maybe this thread will inspire someone who has extra time on their hands to put somthing together.

OPERATION GAMESTOP TAKE OVER & FREE HEADBANDS & CONTROLLERS: To anyone that is going to the Gamestop SF4 Competitions on the 21st, an idea crossed my mind… There’s about 12 locations on that list near the Portland area. If we spread out and take out everyone in all 12 locations we can come out with bunch of free stuff…There’s enough of us that we could try to accomplish Portland SRK members winning at all gamestop locations in Portland. Mwahahaha! Mwhahahaha! (I have a feeling there will be crying children & angry parents) Only downside is they are making everyone play on 360 controllers… you can’t bring your own controllers
