xeris you still work at taco bell?!
gt?.. Game Trader? yeah man, i’m down. haven’t played 3S in a while, but i’ll brush up. I could probably go Saturday, i’ll pm you.
It was awesome… went to Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa & Athens Greece… No SF cabinets or arcades anywhere to be seen… I was hoping to play some people out there, but could find a single sign of capcom anywhere. Sights were amazing though
nice, and i dident actually play KOF12 yet but i saw some people play it. graphics are really good for 2d, terry and joe higashi are in it so i deffinitly want to play it soon.
I think i’m going to go with my wife tonight.
I’m glad that this thread has grown so much. I think we’ve all stepped up to whatever available time or willingness we have to support the community. that list is getting fairly big & i think most people are somewhat active. Good to see some strong supporters in here.
You going to versis tonite noz???
I went to Tilt to play KOF12 with my wife. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. Graphics are redic, but gameplay feels very weird. Jumping back and forth between 3S and KOF12, I think i’m still gonna give it to 3S for smoothest gameplay. I don’t really know how to play the game all that well, but it had that same clunky feeling that SF4 had when it came out. Visually, it scores a 10 on animation and graphics…But for a 2D fighter, seems like it should play smoother…and it only plays on a 4 button layout so that made it feel even more odd.
Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfgh
Nope! But I still live in the same place, hit me up at 971-506–7115 if you want to play casuals SFIV or something, yeah?

Oddly enough, mostly around my working hours in Gresham. I run a game center, so it’s the easiest place for me to play at. I don’t have much free time anymore outside of work and wife…
*Games I Play: VF5 (my main), SC4, SF4, VOOT, TK6, want to learn KOF 98 if I have time.
***Competetive or Casual: **
Competitive on VF5 and VOOT.
Supposedly competitive on SC4
(too many self-proclaimed “great players” have challenged me and I usually win, but I know I’m not at high tournament level–I guess it speaks for the accessibility of the Soul Calibur series and how it’s a very good gateway 3d fighter, and confidence booster). But I will take almost all challengers in SC4, though I honestly don’t think I’m that good. And in all honesty, I have fun playing SC4 with just about anybody regardless of their skill level.
“Casually Competitive” on SF4 and TK6
(I’m more of a social player, too aggressive to be competitive, not so bad that I’d be considered way too casual either).

Chanchai, I didn’t realize you’re a VF5 guy. That makes me quite happy. I have so much to learn, but I love the game.
what’s there to learn?
crouching punch beats everything.
if you get a counter hit, do combos.
lol.
jkjkjk.
i’m having a hard time playing against mackinzie’s lau and bobby’s brad.
i play goh, btw.
^this
Goh is awesome. I like him a lot.
:lame:
practice
i don’t need to practice, i watch youtube videos ALL DAY.
Wow, I’m very happy to hear that you’re into VF5 Kendrik
We really have to get all the VF guys back together!
For the record, I mainly play Lion and Aoi in VF5. My Aoi doesn’t have a lot to its repertoire though (well, not much more than say VF3 even), but fights on the basics and has some layered defense. Lion’s about as complete as I am with a character (that’s not to say that my Lion is complete, but it’s about as complete as I have ever been with any character in any game).
Anyways… guess we can carry conversations like this in the Northwest VF thread hehe. Tempted to resurrect it.
you should.
the more i play vf5, the more i appreciate it.
It’s pretty sweet, I just started playing it again. Watching high level play is redic.
