The one last week did, it was awsome. This week we are not doing anything, but I don’t know about next week since a bunch of people are going to be gone to the tournament in Virginia.
Fight Night:
This week is a no go for us. Kyle, Ryan-Bill, Young, Yo-hei, John, Pete, TN(Tad,Shouse), and I are all going to VTYME tourney. =] Thanks for all the 3S training though. We get back on the 25th, so as far as next week I honestly don’t know, On Aug 3-4 TN is coming up to Ashland for GG w/ us. Then 5-6 Kyle and I are staying w/ Tony for Tekken in Florence KY. So it’s safe to assume that those’ll be my only days off until probably 10th-ish. School starts on the 15th so I probablly won’t get a day off that week because those five days will be my work week, lame. Chase you are welcome and encouraged to drive over here on 4th for GG. MAYBE, we can work out a Lexy-city Fight Night that evening of the 4th b/c TN has to drive through that way to leave anyhow. We’ll see really. I’ll know for definite sure after the 25th.
BTW last Fight Night was sweet. Teams were fun, place looked nice, we rocked AC, and the cabinet is gaining some nice potential.
Yeah all the non-Lextown people are gone, but man we have plenty of people here in Lexington to have a pretty big fight night. Get back to me if you’re interested.

Vtyme was fun as hell. I played somuch my head was hurting.
Whoever didn’t go to vtyme and you are into guilty gear, you missed a lot of awesome competition. Most of them were really good. What sucked was that gg final 8 wasn’t played on the big screen. but soulcal3 did, even though nobody was watching the stupid matches. I seriously thought Kentucky would own ggxxslash. Kyle and I did make it to the final 8, but we were taken out. (we kentucky definetly weren’t playing our best ). However, I did get 4th in 3rd strike and did get to play on the big screen with my shaky ass yun which was really funny, because i messed up more than 5 genei jins.
But the main highlight would be the bug fight that happened when a small fire started due to usage of massive electricity. Everybody got kicked outside, and then everybody gathered around the fight between the wasp devouring the stink bug. It was the unofficial main event of Vtyme. I swear by the end of that, stinkbug shrink by half. You guys had to be there.

young, i really need to play your yun in 3S if you got 4th. who did you lose to? i didn’t know vtyme was such a big event or i would have considered going. that’s tight that combofiend and valle came out.
jaison, i’ll be in northern KY, like 15 minutes from florence, from august 4th-16th or something like that, so i’m game for some 3S while you’re up there for tekken. just throwing it out there because it seems like your schedule is packed for awhile.

PS- be thinking about that KY tourney once school starts. we need to have cash prizes this time for sure, which might require holding it somewhere other than the cats den (ie maybe a venue fee unless somebody has a hookup).
Actually I was thinking about the tournament. I don’t know how many tournaments occur in the midwest, but I would like to attract atleast a few big time players.
I was thinkin about moving it back a bit, since it seems like people aren’t gonna be able to make it. I want a bunch of people from the Midwest to be here, so what does everyone think about next week?

Popoblo, I lost to combofiend’s denjin ryu and akuma, I won a round each the second time around. But he was so calm the whole time, and I was shit nervous. If you want, you could drive down here, I’ll be glad to play you. I don’t think I’ll be able to travel for awhile.
I’d host a fight night but it’s in Louisville. I know most of you guys are closer to Lex.

Especially because at the moment Kyle,Ryan-Bill(WUT),Pete,John(SlyMoogle), and I(//Jais) are all working out an apartment in Morehead. Cash might need to be spent on moving, but so much Slash, Melty, and Vampire Savior though, Holy Hell.
So I talked to Rocky today, and he mentioned hosting fight nights as his new place. It’s going to have lots of room (apposed to these apartments), so it should be pretty cool
Anyone from KY going to Evo? I’m probably going and it would be great to see some of you guys again.
