lol, i would probably win 30-0 with A-blanka/hibiki/R2eagle or some other top tier A-groove shit. cvs2 is a DEEP game man, i know it like the back of my hand. not trying to sound cocky, but cvs2 is the one game i’ll seriously talk shit with. i’ll teach you anything you want to know. i’d say your best bet to becoming good is learning 4-5 characters like the back of your hand and then running with them. i tried all 6 grooves until i learned what worked. any new team or gimmick or trick i would run with until i realized it was worthless. you basically need to realize what kind of a player you are. your ryu in 3S seems in your face/rushdown, so i’d recommend something like C-ken/rolento/sagat or something like that. sakura and cammy are zoning characters for the most part. cammy CAN rush down, but people have played her too much so everybody knows her rushdown tricks.
and my sister’s wedding is the same weekend as MWC, so count me out. we need to get more c-bus tournies going. or at least another KY tourney with cash prizes soon.

I can’t guarentee that Rocky will be at his appartment either, since he has 2 jobs now.
Also, we have 4 PS2 sticks (2 American, 1 Japanese, 1 semi-Japanese cheaper one) here.
One more thing. I don’t think it will be a good idea for it to extend past midnight, since thats usually when our room mates go to bed (they have work in the morning). If anyone wants to continue past 12, you might want to make other plans to meet up somewhere else.

good shit, it was really weird playing real people in cvs2, i’m used to just beasting on the CPU. gg tad, jason, and rocky. and young, we didn’t even get to play any 3S, which was unfortunate. the best chun in KY needs to test your skills sometime.

It’s unfortunete we didn’t get to play any 3S. I need as much high level comp as I can get to get better. TN guys probably won’t be back up next time, beings as they drove 5 hours to come for fight night and our prior GG engagement at 1. It sucks but it’ll give us more time for 3S. They had nothing but positive things to say about the CvS2 and 3S comp you and Yohei were dishing them out. BTW those were sweet Chun vs Alex matches. We played a couple matches of 3S that were fun yadda yadda. So I assumed you didn’t play any GG beings as you were staying on 3S and Young was playing GG. Damn was I wrong. You specifically had 2 rounds were you looped then cross-up’d the piss out of me. That was awesome shit, I’ve only fought another Millia one time at a tourney so your was all new to me. I was very impressed. I feel bad nobody really saw that match. Than I felt rude playing Erick afterward cause I don’t think he knew I lost, lol. Granted it was very close for us to leave and he wanted a match so I assumed that’s what it was. I should’ve gave up the controller than played you after Erick :shake: mybad.
