I have an awsome idea, lets switch to playing Naruto gamecube fighting games, we can get all the anime-kids to play too! Then we can just do supers on wakup all day and make them cry (the game doesn’t allow you to block supers). Great idea? I think so too. I’m going to stop playing GG, and pick it up today!
Actually, I have traveled to many tournaments for this game. There is a real scene that goes beyond con scrubs, and high-level tech is still being discovered.
Using supers in general is a bad idea for most characters, since you need to save your meter for bursts. Hell, Orochimaru’s meaty super seems dumb since it seals chakra…but he doesn’t have much else going for him and is definitely not a tournament-winning character.
My major complaint with the game is that it’s ridiculously tier-broken, but I like a lot of the ideas. In particular, it completely destroys the idea that projectiles cannot be useful in 3-D fighters.

BTW: I know the the XVSF scene is BUMPING up in da ville so I just wanted to let yall know that Gatti land in Lyndon has it. Tough comp too. Hyper active 10 year olds are top tier. They also got Tekken 3. Watch OUT!
they also have MvC2 at the Greyhound station on 7th. You MIGHT get lucky and find someone to play there. Anyone else know where any other games are in Louisville or Lexington?
Since no one tends to take me seriously on Dustloop, I’m posting here. Anyone want to split gas/room cost at MWC? I’m set on going, but I really don’t want to spend alot of money needlessly. It would be awsome if there were atleast 4 people from this area willing to car pool.

I’m going to restart the DDR club here at UK. Ok why do you care? Well it’s not going to be the DDR club anymore, but the arcade gaming club. So we’ll have tournaments and stuff, and I’m going to be donating some gaming equipment for use in the club. I’ll have enough support from the DDR guys, but I’m going to need people who are interest in fighters/shooters/people who like Bad Dudes. Stayed tuned for further details.
ehhhhhhhhhh, for MWC, it’s too close to final round for me. plus there’s no cvs2, which is my main game. i kind of play 3S, and i could care less about mvc2, and i don’t like arcade tournaments, so i’m out completely.
we should throw another tournament here soon with cash prizes. we picked THE worst possible date last time (the OSU/michigan game), so i guarantee the turnout will be better. tourney sometime in april maybe? post opinions.

I wouldn’t be opposed 2 the idea of another tournament in April. As long as Tekken 5 will be played there, I would be down for heading to Lexington again, that is, depending on how work, school, & getting a ride down there are going 4 me.

I would certainly be down w/ playing u in some tekken rob, but unfortunenately, my car is a piece, & it would break down if I tryed 2 make the trip down. Damn Pontiac!
However, I’ll be down there more than likely whenever u guys have a tournament next, since ppl from around here will wanna go 2 the tournament, in which case, someone will wanna drive down, & then, I can actually get down there & finally play u in some tekken.
