Had a good late night session with Fatal Error and Kayza. I’m pretty sure that they have leveled up since these sessions began. Solid combos and offense from both. Also, it was clear to me that both players understand the nuances of Juri/Juri wakeup game and how to deal with EX counter, how to bait EX pinwheel, and when to apply fuhajin pressure.
Because both of you understand and can land U2 on me, maybe switch to FSE and practice that rushdown!
thinking of getting in on this team juri thing. question, what time in the evenings? My connection is terrible lately because of weather (hot/cold extremes make it unplayable for me with input lag, can have up to second delay on any game while it’s perfect on my friend/opponent’s side.) But at night It’s playable… when I say night i mean like… 2-4 am lol

I’ll try not to sit there. A lot of that stems from being new and not knowing what to do. I’ll work on it.
Matt you still need to not use unsafe pinwheels. I’ll use them as a punish… That’s it. By pinwheel I mean mk and hk.
Lk can be safer with spacing. Ex should be a combo ender or a reversal move IMO. It’s good for invincibility. The rest are not.
As for footsie training, it depends on the character. Footsies are juri vs character. Example. Fei long footsies are different from say… Honda. Different moves at different times.
As for mercuryscion (csnt spell sedtiousthroes, lol), too many buttons pressed on defense. A lot of crouch teching. You’re gonna get frame trapped and some characters frame traps hurt. Gotta watch for that.
I wish I could explain my theory behind my offense. I’m very much a feeling person.
GGs yesterday everyone. Playing you guys has taught me that my Juri needs a ton of work, and that I use EX Pinwheel too much lol.
Sometimes I feel like im getting better, then sometimes I feel like Im going backwards with Juri. It can be frustrating. Im also guilty of crouch teching too much. I love to push buttons, and I pay for it.
I might not make it to Sundays session because ill be watching EVO.
