No, it works well on headstomp too. If I see them do the hop, I stick out cr.mk at the time when a headstomp would normally hit, if it’s a Devils Reverse and they advance towards me, I sweep them since cr.mk recovers more than quickly enough to still catch Devils Reverse with sweep.

Cr.MK sometimes makes Stomp whiff but the recovery allows Bison to throw you or tech it if it’s not well timed; and I believe it doesn’t work if it’s a stomp from close range (like wakeup EX stomp), but it doesn’t work too bad otherwise.
Cr.MK against the purple hand works well, it makes it whiff and they land on your cr.MK with Senpusha buffed or something. Only problem I had was cr.MK comming out the wrong side when they crossup with the purple hand.

Every new juri tries this. I did too. I though she was a beast until I started getting srked. If you try and pressure like this, it’s not horrible… It has it’s uses. But enough wake up pinwheels. I don’t wanna be the dick that spends his time practicing meaty throws just to frustrate you all.
Any pinwheel other than ex on wake up is unacceptable. Cut the shit. And even that is sketch and ultra bait.
Now. Juris gotta get your anti airs down. Hit the lab, play with them. This is key because you can hold your ground and not be afraid of aggressors. Also. Anytime you anti air is a free fuhajin store, use for safe pressure and mix up.
Second, hit the lab and learn how to store and hold fireballs. This is important, as fireballs should be your partner in these battles. Learn the rhythm to store quickly, and how to keep which one you want. Gotta rewire your brain.
Blocking. This one is tough. It something you get better at as time goes on. I suggest get in an endless room and go into a defensive mode. I suggest trying two things at once. Learn to zone with juri and if they get in, block and do NOT reversal pinwheel or counter. This is tough with juri mirror because she has fuzzy guard, overhead, fse, and a mean corner pressure. But, it’s important to up your defense. What are you gonna do when you have no meter?
Hit confirms/combos. Juri is a hurricane that needs to be tamed. She’s very lose and wild. It’s easy to pinwheel off of any attack, but highly punishable. Hit confirm them, even if it’s just cmk fuhajin release. Learn the timing for her sclk > clk/cmk/cmp to hit confirm the pinwheel.
Ultra choice. Before you go into the battle have a game plan. Have options you want to use and limit your opponents options so they’re easier to read. This way, if need be you can use an ultra with a plan in mind.
