No more info, no new game mode, nothing for engy or spy… seems like something is missing still for this to be the biggest update ever

Free people can only receive trades not give them; meaning you can’t just farm endlessly. However if you ever spent any money on the game (buying it, in the store, etc) then BAM you’re already a premium account. Even a 99 cent key I assume.
Means you can idle infinite accounts and if you get a good hat drop, then just buy a key and trade it away

If you ever bought the game prior to the update, then you have a premium account, which is basically what it was before. If this is your first time getting it, then you’ll be on the free version of the game.

To get the game to continue updating, I changed the download region to Japan. See if that works for you guys.

i think free accounts cannot get hats, only “standard” items. i guess that means weapons.
edit: don’t have the update yet myself but the steam forums are reporting the Detonator’s “Flare Jump” is terribly nerfed compared to the Beta version. its pretty much worthless and you’re better off sticking with the shotgun.
So I guess the Uber Update Party is not happening?

I’ve just finished playing on one. Everything is up. Did you try changing the Download Region and restarting steam?
