When it first opened back 2008 it ran by hackers and you could’nt kick them either. Since then have put up a hack sheild.
I started with earbuds as a gift from a friend. Traded 8 vintage hats for another earbuds. Trade those two for confetti unusual #1, traded that for confetti unusual #2, traded that back to two earbuds, then traded those for confetti unusual #3 and kept it.
I remember when this game was about shooting people. =P
Earbuds is a good starting point, I wish I had logged on with a mac just to get those as trade bait.
The fact you had 8 vintage hats to trade is pretty crazy though, I idled back in the day before the halocaust but I dont think I got near that many vintage hats at all. I have maybe 3-4.

Once I got my confetti, I’ve really wanted to upgrade to a better effect, but that would take forever.
Not wanting to teach new players how to play is how games die. That is part of the reason FGs died for so long, there was a shit load of elitism(I absolutely include myself in that btw) and I catch myself doing it when I play BF2 and Cod as well. I have tried harder not to recently and if a player at least looks like they are making an attempt to try I lay off them.

Again, there are actually very few servers implementing this mod. The vast majority will welcome F2P players with open arms just because of the fact that they’ll get easy kill.

I remember back when I first joined (during the Sniper/Spy update). I had been playing on this Scout-centric achievement server for a long time. I remember how fun it was spawncamping the other team since the map made it so easy. Good times.
Also tells me how long I’ve been playing this damn game.
the one I played yesterday was 16 blues vs me and 2 other red guys, and we spawned right behind them and they never moved, huzzah! Snagged a bunch of insanely lag filled achievements there (until I lost connection to their danish server)
Demoman with Skullman’s Cutter is so amazingly fun. I like it better than Eyelander on most maps. Now if I could only get the stupid Persian Sword so I can charge all day!

Haha, no it’s my brother’s. If you ever see dgis in server he’s the owner of it. He’s very well aware that I just posted up the ip for his server on these boards and he’s in fact thankful for it. The server is still very new so we’re still figuring out which plugins and such to run but if you guys have map preferences post them in this thread and we’ll take them into consideration.
