Well you could always take the noob way out and just use the backburner
I don’t think it’s all that great either, mainly because of the movement speed penalty. However, unless the Sniper is completely oblivious, he should clearly hear the electrical ‘short out/shatter’ sound of his Razorback being busted. I’ve had it on since I got it, shortly after the update was released. I’ve been backstabbed a total of TWO times as a Sniper since then. Spies should just be shooting the Sniper in the head now with Ambassador Version 3.0.
As a Spy, if I see a Sniper with a Razorback on, I generally try to acquire a new target unless he’s completely isolated.
So let me get this straight, there is nothing indicating you getting backstabbed if you have the razorback on? Or are you just hard of hearing, cuz i often hear spies uncloak near me and kick their ass before they get a chance to get close

I actually am getting better surprisingly, just gotta figure out which couple classes I want to get decent with. That and learning the maps.

No its not luck. My friend is insane with the bow, and just by his consistency with it you can tell its skill.
True, I’m just saying from my own experience. Quite frankly, even if he is provoked, theres not much he can do, as while he’s turning around I’ll already be quick switching to my revolver for the kill.
I don’t use Sniper, but yeah there is a hint of uncloaking sound. Even tho, I’d love to show you my spy, if you PM me your steam ID ;).

Got to love idling while cleaning the house and eating food.
I’m loving Spy all of a sudden. Though I just have the Cloak and Dagger and Ambassador, I love having to jock into position for a good backstab. It’s always been like that, but I had always caught myself using the cloak pre-maturely, resulting in virtually none when I get to the enemy side. Now I can just sit stationary while I wait for the perfect opportunity to uncloak and stab/sap shit.

In a server of 30 people, i can sit there with a bow and rape people on offense too. It’s called fire, side step, charge, corner, fire another guess shot. The arrows always seem to hit people aka bigger hitbox it seems.
I just dont like how it’s a guessing game. Put it this way, i laughed as i was hs snipers who had the bow, across sides on 2fort. I was hs em with the ambassador, while their stupid delayed arrows failed.
damn today on goldrush (red) couldnt get to this nest as spy because of a sg+dispenser blocking me so i
ran to blue base disguised as heavy was shitting bricks as two pyros were watching me stand on the tele waiting it for recharge and a medic was healing me and the fucking engineer was upgrading his tele to level 3 it felt like forever and i was fucking tripping that they didnt puff me once.

Thats why I have been playing Spy since release WAYYYY too fun.
This is really getting out of hand for me.
I played all night, and didn’t get a single drop of any kind. I think the game hates me.
I’ve played for 24 hours and I’ve gotten three, all of which I have already. The system’s pretty bad.
The game must hate me too. I got a backburner that I already have and don’t use. That’s all I’ve “found” so far. I think I’m going to just try idling while I play plants vs zombies.
Whenever you’re done playing for the night, hop on one of the achievement_idle servers in the serverlist. Doing that once gave me:
1x Blutsauger
1x Backburner
1x Cloak and Dagger
1x Natascha
I’ll be idling tonight when I head off for work.
Tried it two nights, never got a damn thing.
It’s been random for me, I’d idle in one of the achieve. servers for an hour or two, quit… then play a normal game and get an item a few mins in.
Then again, I’ve only got like 4 or 5 unlocks lol.
