Yooooo, weāre skipping the usually regular bi-weekly schedule because of Winter Brawl. Look out for us and our two-rooms there and weāll post in this thread when we know our room numbers. Shit will be hype all weekend and weāll continue our regular schedule two weeks after Winter Brawl on March 12th.
Anybody in Gloucester wanna practice? Iām a total scrub, and ordered an arcade stick for mvc3, so im looking to get into that. I practice with someone 15 minutes away from me whose pretty good, but still looking for more people to practice with.

Hey guys few questions for you:
- This is still going on on Saturdays right?
- Are you guys playing MvC3 now? I noticed the Facebook only says SF3 and Super
- How big is the scene? Iām looking to try to get better at Marvel (right now I donāt really have any practiceā¦ online is trash for me and training mode is all I got) so Iām looking for a decent sized group to help me get better.
- Are you guys still at Next Level? If so, Iām pretty embarrassed that I have NEVER heard of you guys considering I have lived down the street MY ENTIRE LIFE (I live next to the CVS down the road). I thought there was no scene around here period. Please tell me you guys are there and you play MVC3. It would completely make my day/week/monthā¦possibly year. Going to New York to get practice is starting to get expensive.
- Every other Saturday. Next one is going to be on 3/12 I believe.
- Thereās certainly a large handful of people playing Marvel now. Youāll for sure get in plenty of games of Marvel if you come by. Aside from most everyone having Marvel fever right now, we do play all sorts of games at Body Shop events if you happen to play anything else.
- Scene Iād like to say is pretty good size. Each event, there has been usually at least 2-3 setups running of Super w/ people constantly playing; and at the last Body Shop before Winter Brawl, there were I think 3-4 setups of Marvel running the whole time. As I said, youāll for sure get plenty of games in.
- Yes, still at Next Level. This past weekend was just kind of an āoffā week due to most everyone being at Winter Brawl.

3/12 is my best friendās birthday so that might be a āNo Goā for me. I was really hoping it would be the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month rather than the 2nd and 4th. Sālong time to wait to play.
As for what else I play, I dabble in a little bit of everything but Iām not really playing anything else at the moment. I could probably pick up Super again but Iām terrible at it.
I was wondering. Based on your avatar, do you play BB? I usually bring a BB setup with me to Body Shop, and have been trying to get people out to play it. Aside from me, thereās usually at least two others who play. Unfortunately, I wonāt be around 3/12 either as PAX East is that weekend.
I played a lot when CT came out and I can play CS but I donāt play it much anymore. If I did play Iād probably be able to do likeā¦ half or 2/3rds of Litchiās BnB but not the whole thing. Iāll play if you want for sure but Iām pretty sure Iāve lost my touch at that game lol. As I said I dabble in everything as all I play is fighters and RPGs really. I have played in the past: Tekken, DOA, BlazBlue, Naruto GNT, 3S, Super, Smash Brothers on at least a semi-competitive level, some with more success than others (I used to play Smash with the best players in Jersey and my dabblings in Naruto GNT lead me to a few 1st and 2nd place finishes @ various tournaments). It really just depends on who I can play in what. If I can only find a group to play Naruto, thatās what Iām stuck playing. Smash? Stuck with that. BlazBlue was it for a while but everyone fell out of that after they realized that the game just switched from Nu & Rachel to Bang & Litchi.

Well, I know there will be plenty of PS3 sticks and I know there a few with octogonal gates on their sticks.
