SSF4 Teams next Sat? Cool, I’ll just find a teammate when I get there haha (~8:00).
I’LL BE PLAYING MK9 AS WELL

sup meteo2 , damn would love to go to a teams ssf4 tournament but there is a tournament in nj closer to ny that same day so ima just got to that 1 i think maybe next time

bumping up the jams. remember teams super, single in marvel and mk. if you dont have a teammate, we will work on getting a partner for you before the tournament starts. GET HYPE MOTHERFUCKERS!!!

Do you need to bring your own controller to play? Becasue I dont have a PS3.

While most people bring their own sticks/controllers, most people there are pretty chill and will let you use their stick.

Alright cool, that would be nice If I could borrow a controller as I suck with a stick lol.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Lets do this.

awesome Body Shop, it was great to see some new KINGS in MK! I appreciate the effort you guys put in, as well as enjoy looking over the posted results, bracket, and youtube vids from past body shops

Oh and I may have left an extra ps3 controller/cable there. I’ll pick them up next time - should have an “M” etched into them.

Next Body Shop is May 14th featuring MK9, MVC3 and BBCS2!

:frowning: rip SF4…lol ok i guess i will play mk and MVC.

I don’t thinks its RIP Super yet by far. Teams are just hard to get going and a lot of the good SF4 players ended up dedicated to MvC3, and a few didn’t make it last Saturday. People are looking forward to console AE as well, and I think some people just aren’t excited to touch the older SSF4 edition now. I have to admit that it is a bummer when Damien, Josh Wong, and Dr. Chaos
show up and don’t play SSF4 because I REALLY enjoy fighting those guys, haha, but I totally get how they might want to dedicate themselves all the way to MvC3 and AE at this point in time. Still, I got some good SSF4 casuals in vs a great Chun last Saturday (DAMN I forget the name…) - and anytime MarlinPi or Franstastic show up there is probably at least going to be a small money match with me vs them if there is no SSF4 tourney.

MK and Casuals will keep me coming back in any event - and I’ll always be up for sum Super : )

yea i know it isnt RIP but that’s where my PASSION is right now. It’s what I want to play. But since i wasn’t there last time the only Chun player i know that’s there is SamuraiH100. He knows a lot about her. Yea but i havent been to the arcade in a while. i have to catch up on that. But casuals will always be hyped for ssf4.

Super is far from dead, but we just need to take it out of the lineup until AE drops. There isn’t the interest right now and some new games have popped up in popularity. I’m really excited for the AE drop and can’t wait to get back into it.

OK then. wipes tears Sindel will body at the next body shop. Actually Nightwolf is looking pretty nice.

The Chun is my boy Dwayne. I think his handle is “Samurai Hajima” And yes, his Chun is excellent. He is the type to fully dedicate himself to only one character and one game at a time until he masters it. It is why I always found it so hard to best him when we would play SF/Tekken in college. I tried to play 2 or 3 games with 2 or 3 characters each, trying to play the counter picks, while he’d just hold it down with Law in Tekken and whoop my ass when I walked off the CvS2 machine over to Tekken. I’d lose $10 while he is still on his first 50 cents lmao. He just tries to learn every thing and be “perfect.”

If I recall he beat Josh Wong in tournament like last month but I don’t know how serious Josh was playing it (he used Ibuki).

Bump.

Who’s coming out to this weekend’s body shop?
