Alright. Marvin and I were bored so we tried some more Shoto low forward reversals. Some things to punish low forward with are Akuma SA2, Alex’s Hyperbomb, and Oro’s EX Kishin Riki. Hillarious.

Execution Question: For Super motions, do you guys use small 720s in the corner for the motion or do you just move from down to toward to down again and finish with torward?
There’s a small difference, really, if by “small 720” you mean not going to the outer edge of the joystick range to do the 720. Myself, I just do two quarter circles. Some of what will screw you up is dropping the motion on the negative edge, that’s why sometimes an uppercut will come out before the super which you didn’t even mean to do, or if you’re doing a short into super you might accidentally cancel it with a rhino horn, or something like that. Give the button a sharp, discrete tap. Or hold it down if you want to cancel with another button (thanks, allen).
I don’t know if anyone’s done it already, and if it has, oh well. But I finished my shoto low forward reversal video. I’m trying to get it hosted somewhere right now. Marvin and I might go to Zot Zone today so I can show it to you guys then.

Alright, guys. I’m going to collect money from y’all on Friday for the Team Control website. Marcus and i agreed that the site will also host a YBS page so he’s going to chip in as well. I’m probably going to get it from this place called www.lonex.com. It’s 4.95 a month for 400mb data storage and 5GB transfer / month. That brings the total to 59.40 a year.
Since Marcus decided to chip in, we’ll be splitting it 8 ways (Abel, Chris, Courtney, David, Eliot, Marvin, Me, and Marcus). So all of us owe 7.43 each. Just give me 8 bucks please so I don’t have to handle change. I’ll use the excess for next year (if there is going to be a next year for this website).

You bet there’ll be a lot of food. Well, if you don’t know yet, I’m going to have a bit of a shindig this friday at my place, involving food, costumes, horror movies, and scaring trick or treaters. No, it’s not the blood ritual that eliot and Chris had planned, it’s a halloween get together that comes just in time as midterms come to a close (don’t they?). Team control is obviously invited, and if they hadn’t realized already, the invitation is extended to YBsquared. All I ask is that you bring a horror movie of your choice (so we can randomly choose a movie to watch), and, this part’s optional, wear a costume to get into the spirit of things. We may end up walking around the complex just for the hell of it. You never know.

I’d just like to add that Nate has been improving a lot recently… either that or I’m starting to suck a bit more because he’s been coming verrrry close to kicking my ass. He actually beat my elena… with alex. 
(not even ryu) Mostly annoying things like predicting my parries and cancelling into the super. Goddamn. Ahh, I see myself in his ryu–mainly the low forward->ex fireballs that I always parried but the machine had other plans.
As a result, I won’t be coming after 3 in the afternoon since that seems to be the cutoff time for my skill.
Anyways, I’ll give money but I won’t be able to attend the friday shindig/blood ritual because my parents are coming home from europe this week and my brother and I have to welcome them back/trade stories and everything else. Make sure the fish are okay, too.
